UES : university entry scheme is a scheme for graduates to entry into defense,you have to pass entrance ans ssb interview and medical test for it.

you can join in Indian air force through the exams like UES(university entry scheme),
EKT(engineering knowledge test) etc..these types of exams are generally conducted by UPSC..

after clearing these type of exam they will call you for interview, technical test, medical test. if you clear all of these then you will get selected for leautinent post, or technical field..

UES stands for university entry scheme.......when you are in 4th year you can apply for it in which the people of IAF will take an exam ,an interview in the college itself and those all selected will be qualified for further testing........

after clearing these type of exam they will call you for interview, technical test, medical test. if you clear all of these then you will get selected for leautinent post, or technical field..

you can join airforce through CDS,UES,FAST TRACK ENTRY SCHEME in there technical as well as logistic cadre for ground duty as well as warfare branches of IAF.

UES:it is entry scheme for graduates in flying as well as technical branches of Airforce.You have to appear for an entrance exam,interview and medical fitness test.

FAST TRACK ENTRY SCHEME: it is on campus recruitment program newly introduce by IAF.They conduct campus placement in some selected gov.institute across India.

One can join Indian Air Force basically in two ways:- CDS and AFCAT

CDS - COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Engineering from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 23 years, is eligible to apply for Indian Air Force of CDS.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with physical fitness and Medical Test.

AFCAT - AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST conducted by Air Force for entry in to Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch.
