sir , I passed out my 10th class and i m in cbse board . Now i have to choose subjects for 11th . I will definitely take science stream but confused between pcm and pcbm . I wanna take PCMB but have fear in my mind that would i able to manage the stress of the studies which will come on me by choosing both biology and maths....one reason behind choosing pcbm is also that i am not able to choose in which line i have to make my future...that is in medical or engineering [ main & popular fields of science ]
so i want your serious help regarding the confusion between pcm and pcbm .
and 1 more thing if i choose pcbm and want to leave biology in between the session.....can i do that ? or if i wanna leave bio after 11 th class ? can i do that ?

doing courses in biotechnology, is it compulsory to take math as one of the subject?

dear friend , you can do B.TECH by giving entrance like IIT, AIEEE, or any state test of engineering. this course can be done in computers,electronics,bio-technology,bio-informatics,information technology,civil,mechanical,etc.....
you can also do B.SC,BCA,BBA,BA.

which cource can i select so that i may not have any problem in future? ie, cources which are ever green....

1)MBBS-nothing is better than a doctor
2)engineering-any stream ,every stream has its own importance
3)bsc-bachelor of science,tough to get good percentage and will have to complete msc to get a good job
4)polythecnic-diploma in any engineering stream will take 6 years to complete a degree in engineering
the order of superiority
mbbs>engineering>bsc>polythecnic

Well you can go for any science genre graduation. Also if you want you can complete 'A' level course under DOEACC. You can also go for other general graduations in science like Bio science honors or biotechnology honors or physics honors or mathematics honors or bio physics honors or electronics honors. Also in Arts genre if you take the combination of Economics, Statistics, then your course will be regarded as a science course. Thus you will get a B.Sc. degree which is very very valuable in the job market out there. Now you decide.
