>> Karnataka Examination authority the now the new body to conduct the Karnataka Post Graduation Common Entrance Test (PGCET 2011). Government of Karnataka authorized KEA to conduct PGCET 2011 in it’s notification. So KEA now published official Notification to conduct PGCET 2011 for admission to M.Tech courses in the colleges affiliated to various Universities of Karnataka.

Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for appearing in the PGCET 2011 Entrance Exam to be conducted in the month of August. All courses offered under PGCET 2011 is for both part time and full time (Except MCA where only Full time course is available).

Eligibility for appearing for PGECET:

Candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examinations in relevant engineering as specified in official notice with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters/ years of the degree examination (cumulative sum of secured marks of all the semesters / years divided by the sum of the maximum marks). However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and CAT-1, marks shall not be less than 45%.
Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination and expecting the result within the last date as prescribed by the PGCET cell.

download the Application Form and Admission Ticket
completely fill in the same
send the above with all required documents (all attested photocopies of documents and not to send original documents)

A D.D. of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- in case of Karnataka SC/ST & Cat- 1 on production of documentary proof) drawn in favour of Member Secretary CPAC, payable at Belgaum should be sent along with the Application Form, Admission Ticket and all necessary enclosures.

Karnataka and non-Karnataka candidates are eligible for admission

Full Time M.E. / M. Tech Courses :
Aspirant should have passed BE/BTech examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects
Based on the performance of the candidates in the Common Entrance Test, the rank list will be prepared and published for admission to the above courses.
