Dear Friend
UPSC is the Union Public service Commission. It is the examinations conducting council of India which conducts large no of examinations every year. Also you have not mentioned the name of that specific exam for which you want the no of attempts for general category. So I am mentioning the examinations in which there is limitations on attempts and no of attempts which are provided to general category. The no of attempts are only four for the general candidates in the following examinations conducted by the UPSC that are 1.Civil services examinations. 2.Indian engineering services examinations. 3.Indian forest services examinations. The no of attempts provided to obc is seven and that to sc/st has no limit. OBC and SC/ST has an edge over general candidates in age limitations also. For general category the age limit is 21-30 years where as for the obc it is 21-33 years and for the SC/ST it is 21-35 years. Hope the information provided by me helps you . all the best aashisranjan784 |
