I have submitted the BIS form online for 2011, but i have not received any information whether i have been selected for written test or not. Please let me know how to check whether i have been selected or not.

can i eligible 4 this written exam?......although my 10th %age lss than 60 but 70above in 12th as well as in b.tech(mechanical)...........

hi..
the questions asked in the examination are from the basics and are very simple,
you have to answer 100 questions in 2 hours for technical part and 100 questions in 1 hour for aptitude part
the technical questions almost cover all the parts of the civil engineering including railways and airports,
the aptitude questions cover the English,maths and some general questions ,
you have to be really fats in answering the English questions,
there is no negative marking in the exam ,

as the maximum power allowed by L&T is -5 i will surely not be eligible for selection because your power is too high

hi..as your height and weight are absolutely marginal there wont be any problem for you on that grounds ,actually no were during the examination and the interview there is an test for the height and the weight ,and the medical test is done only after you are selected .
by that time you can easily increase your weight more than 50 by eating more and more ,also a height of 159 cm can be taken as 160 also by some medical probationer because its marginal and hence you should not worry about these two and concentrate on the preparation for the examination and the interview phase which is the toughest part in the entire selection procedure .
you should do really well in the interview to get selected because there is an absolute great competition and the students coming there for the interview are almost the best students who are having very high scores in there graduation and hence you should be among the best to get selected ,
there is absolutely no need to worry about the height an the weight issue during the interview and the written examination phase of the selection procedure

hi..i got selected for lnt bis program.........medical tests are yet to complete...can anyone tell about the medical test...my glass power is around - 6.5 will they consider me if i do laser treatment to correct my vision

when would be the exam date in 2014 ? n can I have a chance to appear now I'm a civil engineer n I'm with all eligible conditions.kindly intimate.
