sorry to say dear , you have no chance for any govt college because 90% reserved for west bengal and 10% are for other state.

you have chance in top most private college.so you can try it.

I want to study mechanical engg. but according to previous years closing rank i will not get in jalpaiguri govt. engg. college. is govt. college of engg. and textile technology a good college?they have started mechanical engg. branch from 2010. will it be wise to go there? or shall i opt computer science in jalpaiguri engg. college and then try and change the branch after 1st year?..i want to study mechanical engg. only and that too from a govt. institute.what will my best move?awaiting for your kind reply........
