Re: Is kiit good for mca?
am a kiit bca passout(2010)...Am shocked to see the comments about the kiit mca...there was no placement for bca students...not even 1 student got placement....they dont call companies .... KIIT school of computer application is a school of frauds.. They loot money...Even it applies for MCA too...one's who have career , struggles hard 2 get a placement..... what i know is 40 % of MCA 2010 are placed....other hav got job through off campus.....Paying 2 lakhs a years and landing yourself into unemployement is wat gonna give you if one without a career takes admission in mca....n forget about bca( no jobs )
this is the true fact.... dont go about the national ranking,......it only applies for btech students ....not for mca n bca... |

Re: Is kiit good for mca?
Dear,
KIIT is a deemed university of India and it is better college for MCA. According to India Today, KIIT is the best private institution of India. After doing MCA you can get better jobs in big software sector like INFOSYS, TCS, IBM, HCL & SATYAM etc. You have scored a very good marks in the entrance test but I think this marks are not sufficient to take admission in KIIT. All The Best |

KIIT holds admission test for free, bit its fees are very high. Also BTech course is very good, but for MCA it is fine but you can ask the students learning their in MCA course. Also the placements are good, but you need to pay a good amount to graduate from that college. |

Re: Is kiit good for mca?
please if you wants to take admission in kiit university in mca or bca and having non career then you must have to choose another university.
At present time ofcourse you know 200 no. of student placed in mca through kiit site... but reality is only 50% means only 114 students get placed. there are lot of problem if you have non career (10th,10 2,graduation)then u must have to choose another university. otherwise u lost ur 7 lac money in this university. placement department says a no. of companies will visit in next month but reality is only 4 or 5 only for career or more than this 70% overall. and all of this not due to placement department but only due to companies wants... overall Btech having good placement record 85% only due to career and TCS placement and present IT situation. but MCA have not get any priorities in kiit university. Every one knows that MCA student of that last semester is best in all over kiit batches(1998-2007). and also compare to btech in technical(accepted by Aricent and HP). but only due to advertisement and profit from btech they do not give any focus on MCA or BCA. BCA student not get any placement yet. yet we are wating for non-career companies in this IT BOOM....... |

Re: Is kiit good for mca?
Hi dear,
KIIT just plays MONEY GAME. You will not get placements. good faculties have already left the University an yr ago. So why r u planning to get admission in KIIT. It simply F****. Really its my experience.. You will have to pay bribe to get admission in good company. They ask for money to clear the written exam another 50000 for clearing GD and so on.... If you pay bribe of 1 lacs you will be finally placed in Infosys. If you do have such a huge aamount of PAPA's hard earned money to spend away... you are most welcome...But really I warn you again u will not learn anything here.... This will spoil your complete career.... I am a B.Tech passed out of 2010 batch and I know the condition well. Dont go by the false stats in website.. also wat amtters for KIIT Management is the maintenance of HUGE INFRASTRUCTURE rather than building career of students... After this information all depend on you my friend... I gave just a sincere advice to you Thanks |

Re: Is kiit good for mca?
A) Placement wise the scopes you get in KIIT you get almost nowhere as far as private institutions are concerned..Last year Microsoft came to KIIT for placements and this year guys there are expecting Google..Placement wise KIIT is far better than even VIT(recently rated as the best private institution in India by India Today)..And you'll get to know this if you ask VIT guys..
SRM,VIT everywhere you get IT solution companies like Infy or TCS.Not Google and Microsoft. B )SRM has got accredit ion problems though SC has clarified that Deemed Universities don't need AICTE approvals..Some may say why give a damn to AICTE we're having placements..I'd suggest you should give a damn to the law of land...And beleive me there are still MNCs who doesn't recruit if you don't have AICTE approvals. C)KIIT is a six-star college(B++) by NAAC (under AICTE)..while VIT is B+..I doubt if SRM is rated. D)There has been numerous articles written on the placements of KIIT-MCA students on "The Economic Times".. Trust me placements are great. E) I'm afraid I could agree with what the earlier guy has written about the infra of KIIT..KIIT's infra is far better than SRM as far as the Computer Sciences branch is concerned. You can check it out. |
