All branches are good for future.

But the main thing is whats your interest.You have so many options.

Mechanical engineering is a very good option.Its a core branch so that it have

so many scope in public sector as well as in private sector.

There are also many language like electrical enginnering,civil engineering are

good.These all branches are called core branchesw of engineering.

If u have interest in computer field then you shuuld choose computer science

or IT branch.If you have interest in computer then you should choose a

perticular field like programming.

There are so much scope for engineering.

The best thing related with engineering is " there is so much quantity but a

very less quality".

So be perfect in your field.

i just prefer that soft.engg or mechanical is the core fields in future... all the best;)

siri want to engineering with instrumentation.please tell in scope 5-7 years.

What branch you should take it depends on your

interest for eg If you like programming then go for CSE

or IT.If you like studying core papers like mechanics or

electrical related stuff then go for

MECHANICAL,ELECTRICAL or CIVIL.If you find

chemistry interesting go for CHEMICAL.
But based on placement in the current year my

preferences will be as follows
1.CSE
2.MECHANICAL or ELECTRICAL or CIVIL
3.ECE
4.IT

how much of the B.E aggregation percentage one can have to get the job for almost all companies ?

information technology (IT) means study the engineering application of inforamation system(the sytem which transfer,recieve and manage information)i.e electronics engg:,telecom,somputer,soft etc

and what about software eng.?

which branch will give nice placement with nice amount of money?

COURSE TO SELECT IN ENGINEERING

There are several engineering course which are in great demand now a days, and it depends purely on your INTEREST to select the course.

-> If you are going to select a course now which is in great demand but you are not interested in it, then you will surely end up not completing it with good marks, so its better you plan for the course which you are interested.

-> Our world does not operate only with one single device for eg. A Personal Computer is not only done by a Computer Engineer, it consists of chips, ICU's which are designed by electrical engineers and mechanical engineers use it to design their machines and do their jobs which is same as well for civil engineers and so on.

-> So basically when you are going to select a course, it is just depended upon how well you are interested in it but not what the demand of the course..

I AM A AVERAGE STUDENT BUT I WANT TO STUDY IN ENGINEERING FIELD BUT I AM CONFYSED THAT WHAT FIELD TO CHOOSE IN ENGINEERING PLEASE TELL.

am rather confused about taking proffessional courses ? i hve finished my 12th now am completely blind of what engineering course to be taken? can any1 please suggest my path?

The core enginneering streams are:-
1)mechanical engineering
2)civil engineering
3)electrical engineering
4)electronics and communication
By saying core stream i mean that these are super classes and the other streams are basically subclasses of these streams. These core streams have a wide area of application but the problem is that there are hardly any core companies which come to india. Hence it is advisable that you take these streans only if you are in IIT, NIT or a good government university.

In terms of recruitment the stream which has bagged the competition is computer science. Since information technology and computer science are 93.75% similar, you should go for these streams if you are takinga seat ina private college.

All branches have demand these days.All are good and have wide scope.It all depends upon your interest and area in which you are comfortable while working.
If you are interested in room oriented jobs then go for branches like:IT,computer science etc. This was as per your comfort but if you have interest in programming languages like java, c/c++, dotnet etc then go for above branches.Otherwise electronics and telecommunication have also demand these days as it deals with both hardware and software knowledge.Other branches which offer handsome packages are:mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil, environmental etc.
So choose the best one as per your interest because each and every branch has demand in industry.

my son is doing 11th std, now, i want to know that after 5 to 6 years which branch of engineering will be booming and have more demand?

And also i hv done 1st year with 75 percentage.Now i take admission in 2nd year but there is a problem in choosing right branch.I am so much confused in taking which branch either electrical or civil.sir pls suggest me. You can for core department like electronics , civil ,mechanical ,electrical.because in those department you have lots of scope .

Also you can apply for computer science department but in govt sec it has less priority .in private sector it has high demand....


So you can go for core department.
