The minimum weight requirement is according to the height, it should be in proportion with height. The minimum height requirement to apply for Air Hostess Entrance Exam is 5'4". While some institutions allow Height 5'2" also.

Training institutes will ensure your job at the airlines with more ease as it will train you accordingly. Without going for training courses also you can appear for this exam and crack it. There are also short term certificate courses available which you can take according to your preferences.

So I can't have a BMI of 16.5 and look like Kate Moss and be an air stewardess?! That's dumb. Thin is in. I hate fat people! I weight 115 (52 kilos) pounds and am 179 centimeters tall. I have no health issues, look like a supermodel, men love me and I can fit into a US size 4. Requiring air stewardesses to be fat is just ludicrous. Gwyneth Paltrow has a BMI of 17.2 and she played an air stewardess in View from the Top! She was fabulous in it. Looked gorgeous too. Skinny is pretty. I agree below a BMI of 16 is too low though.

If 18 year old then weight should be = 50 kg
If 23 year old then weight = 56 kg

The rules prescribe different weight limits according to their height and age. For an 18-year-old air hostess with a height of 152 cm, the maximum weight permissible is 50 kg while air hostesses in the age group of 26 to 30 and a height of 152 cm, the weight limit is 56 kg.

The minimum weight should be between 54 to 59 kgs

To become an Air Hostess below mentioned eligibility is compulsory to require
