in indian navy you have to submit all the documents before the training program. they start there training at the middle of JUNE. so if you can clear all the backlog and if you can show your original all documents then obviously you can apply for indian navy. for this year the submission of application already stopped at 9th September.

Hello bro!

Yes, sure you are eligible for Indian navy but at the end of B.Tech course you have to clear your backlogs.
Then you have to attend exams for gaining a seat in Navy, following three are the exams.
1.CDS(combined defense service)

2.UES(university entry scheme)

3. EKT(engineering knowledge test)


After clearing these tests they will send you a call letter to attend the interview. After clearing that interview, you will be tested for medical and physical clearance. Then you are confirmed to be a part of Indian Navy.

Being a final year it is quite impossible for you to join in then Indian army .But after your final year you can easily join in the Indian army.

you can join indian navy by three ways:

CDSE:conducted by upsc twice in a year in the month of feb and sept for notification details visit www.upscexam.gov.in

UES entry: university entry scheme which they select on visiting campus.

Direct entry: notifications issued by indian navy which can be found in the official website nausena bharthi for short service and permanent commission
for various fields.

Graduate students can join Indian defence forces by appearing in CDS or SSC examination.

Final year appearing student can also apply for the exam.

In order to join Indian Navy you need to give some exam.The eligibility criteria for Indian Navy are listed below.

*)Your age must not be greater then 22 years at the time of training for it.

*)Candidate should have completed a Three-Year diploma from a Government of India recognized Institute / Polytechnic, with minimum 50% marks in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunications or Aeronautical or Ship Building or Instrumentation Engineering or Metallurgy or in any other subject as advertised in employment news.

As you are Interested in being a part of Indian Navy there are options for you to be a part of them by writing the entrance exam like NDA,CDS.

Both the exams are conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and is held 2 times in a year.

There are some eligibility criteria's which the candidates must possess to write the exam.

NDA - National Defence Academy

Qualifications for NDA:

->The candidate must be a citizen of India

->The candidate must be a unmarried male candidate.

->The candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

->The candidate must have passed +2 from a recognized board with physics and mathematics as subjects.

->The candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the exam.

CDS - Common Defence Academy

Qualifications for CDS:

->The candidate must be a citizen of India

->The candidate must be a unmarried male candidate.

->The candidate must have a age limit of 19-22 years.

->The candidate must have a degree in engineering from a recognized university.

As you satisfy both the education qualification you must check whether you satisfy the other criteria's,if you satisfy all you can choose the respected and then apply for it.

You can not join while you are studying in final year of your graduation.After completion of your graduation you can apply for it.

Criteria for INDIAN NAVY :

>>graduation with Physics,Chemistry and Math in 12th standard.
>>19 to 23 years of age.
>>Eyesight of 6/6.

Selection procedure :

After the written examination you will face an interview and a medical test.After all these you will be selected.

definitely, you are eligible for the CDS examination for apply for air & naval & army wing .
the age limit for this exam is 19-24.
For this exam you can also go through either UES(university entry scheme),EKT(engineering knowledge test): Through this scheme you have to give a written test ,after completing this stage you will be call for SSB.SSC(short service commission) : In this scheme,also you have to appear

for written test.After clearing written test you will be called for SSB.Actually in this

scheme, you will be commissioned for 15 years in the force.

Exam are conducted by National Defence Academy to select candidates for Navy..
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Candidate must be unmarried.
3. Candidate should be a 12th passed student with Physics and Maths compulsory.
4. Age must be between 16.5 to 19 years


CDS entry exam :
1. Candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Candidate must be unmarried.
3. Candidate must be Graduated with minimum 60% agreegate.
4. Age must be between 16.5 to 19 years
