The eligible candidate being an Indian National having completed 12th in any stream with good marks from a recognised Board within the age of 22 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate, can apply for Hotel Management Course through cracking entrance exam.

Eligibility

Diploma course after 10th: To apply for diploma course a candidate must have passed Class 10th exam from a recognised board with minimum 40% marks.

Bachelors Degree: For bachelors degree a candidate must have passed Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.

Post graduation degree: To be eligible for post graduation management programme a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree from a recognised university with at least 45% marks.

Certificate course: If a candidate wants to apply to certificate degree he/she should have completed minimum eligibility criteria the programme.


Duration

• The duration for Masters degree in hotel management would range from 18 months to 24 months.
  
• For a certification and diploma course the duration of the programme would be 6 months to 18 months.
  
• it depends upon the modules covered in the programme.

the basic requirement or qualification you should have is you should have done your 12th ( 10+2) or equivalent from recognized board with english as one of the main subjects

If you have this qualification then you are eligible for hotel management exam.
However, this is the basic requirement, you can also appear for hotel management course after your graduation and post graduation subjected to your age.

Your age should not be 24 years. if you have crossed your age then you are not eligible for exam.

Minimum qualification required to go for a course in hotel management is 10+2. For certificate, diploma and bachelors courses 10+2 is sufficient. Duration of certificate courses is six months to one year. Bachelor and diploma courses are of duration one and half to three years. Those with graduation can go for post graduate diploma courses the duration of which is one year.
