Right now your sister must concentrate on 11th and 12th with PCM.
After that BCA which offers graduation only in one field of computer application on the other hand BSc. is possible in various field like Electronics, Computer science, IT, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biotechnology and lots more.
But in current sinerio one must pursue PG for getting good job and salary.
So also think about it.

ofcourse BCA is best than BSc but if one wants to make career in teaching line by UGC NET than prefer BSc otherwise BCA is best because it gives ur computer knowledge regarding computer languages and after completing BCA & MCA one can easily join Big firms...

After 10th class you can not do BCA or B.Sc course. Both BCA & B.Sc are the Graduation related course. The minimum eligibility criteria for take admission in BCA & B.Sc course is 12th.
AS your sister completed 10th then i advise them first complete 12th class and then apply for BCA or B.Sc course.

No ,you are not eligible for doing bca or bcom. First you do your intermediate or 12th and then you apply bca that is for your future.

Eligibility for BCA/B.SC
•-> 10+2 from any recognized board.
•-> No age limit.

you can not apply for the course with your 10th qualification.
to apply you need to come your 12th standard you need to choose science group and then apply for any of the course you wish.

Because, you have to completed your 12th first to get admission in Degree courses.

In India, under UGC norms, the minimum eligibility criteria for doing a bachelors degree will be 10 2. Only after that you wil be permitted do BCA as well as B. Sc.

And both are good with respect to their own. Its just that, that BCA can be a professional degree whereas B. Sc is definitely a qualification to help pursue higher research.

I am myself personally a post-graduate scholar of Delhi University or college and did my personal B. Sc within Microbiology from Delhi University or college..

So, there are a lot of scope even if you do B. Sc. Its just you have to be the best in whatever you decide to do..

Ask her to take B.Sc., rather than BCA. BCA or Bachelor's in Computer Application is loosing its charm for quite sometime now. You did not mention the subjects of inclination for your sister. But nowadays B.Sc. in Electronics and B.Sc. in Nanotechnology is picking up speed. These are becoming very popular among students.
Unlike BCA these streams have a huge provision for job also. BCA people are not getting that much scope in jobs right now. The syllabus of BCA has not changed for so many years now. In fact, the IT jobs have become lesser day by day. So that becomes the root problem. So get your sister admitted in B.Sc. rather than BCA.
