You can engage yourself in sales and marketing sector as well as in the R&D sector.

By having,higher education like doing the master's in any pharma specialization or doing an MBA in pharma management can promise you a much better future.

After completing Master's you can join in reputed institutes as a lecturer.

Apart from the drug manufacturing industry, pharmacists are also employed in the chemical industry and food and drug control organizations.

Opportunities are a cross function of trials. You have to prepare yourself for the best

companies from the pre-final year of your degree. Various job opportunities are:
1. If you are little bit interested in marketing , then you can for the position of medical

representative (MR) in pharmacutical companies like cipla, torex, pifzer, ranbaxy etc.
2. Open your own shop of medicines and drugs, you can be a retail and wholeseller of drugs.


India, being such a large country with huge population naturally India has greater rate of

Ill and Sick patients. Place where a life is lost in every minutes due to any illness like-

in every 15 mins a person die of diarrhea, every 5 mins creates a new Diebetes patient etc.

All these has created huge consumption of Medicines which has made India No. 1 in Whole

World for Pharmaceutical Sector.

So, naturally India being the World lagrest Pharma Hub has thausands of Man Power in form of

skilled and well educated professionals is required.

After completing your M.Pharma and Entering into Job Market, you will find job in

Manufacturing side then having some extra Qualification like MBA or Work experiance of at

least 3 year will lead you to move towards Managing and sales department.

Salary also depends upon from which institute you persue the course,because today quality of

education is also a big factor. If your institute have capusing facility then nothing is

better then that.

However,a post graduate from a good institute can expect anything between
3 - 6 lacs/annum,after few years of experience say 5 years you can claim 9-12lacs/annum. And

at some executive or Administrative post one can even claim 18 Lacs Per annum, depending

upon Company also.

Remember today just completing your education is not enough, completing Education from a

Good institute is also a very big factor, because I have seen few people even having post

graduation they are working as Medical Representative at 8,000-12,000 of salary.

Some people complains that all the facts about Career prospects are Lie, package is very

Pharmaceutical Inustry at backlog.

Even being the World's lagrest Phaceutical Hub, India is unable to create good jobs Why?

A little example:- India is the largest Antibiotic (Basically Azithromycine) consuming

country which requires Lacs of Tones per years to cater the need, unables to produce even

1/4 in India becuase of very high fanufacturing cost. So either imports from Forign or

Manufacture it in foreign country where the company have Plant.

So, here alone a single Antibiotic has taken hundreds of jobs.

And today one of the most Important factor is Persuing the course from the best Institutes

having good placement records.

hello dear,
in present time, there are so many jobs are available in pharma sector, required only qualified and talented person, butlack of this type of persons cause shortage of jobs.
after b. pharm you can get-
govt. job like-
hospital pharmacist,
army pharmacist,
rail way pharmacist etc.

on the other hand, in private sector-

productin officer,
jobs in QA or QC dept.
marketing dept,
clinical trial etc.

so, now take care about your study.

opcourse you can do both degree, i mean M. pharm & MBA. but this is a time consumed & meaningless journey.
that is why, i want to advice you that after b. pharma if you like higher studies, then you can do m. pharma.
otherwise you can do mba, this is also better, and you can earned huge amount of money.

now the choice is your's.

it your choice that which field you prefferd , i mean pharmacy or engneering,
you join pharma field, then opcourse this is a better option for you, because in this field , in future you can get-
QA,QC jobs, marketing job, production job after b.pharma and in public sector, you can get hospital pharmacist job, army pharmacist job, railway pharmacist job, drug inspector job, etc.

after m. pharma, there are so many opportunity for you like-
in R & D section of pharma company,
QA, QC officer etc.

if you do MBA, then you can get much better jobs, and salary is also better.

Ø Production department
Ø Quality control department
Ø Quality assurance
Ø Regulatory affairs(a bit difficult to get in)
Ø R&D (very rare, but a strong reference can get u placed in it)

there are so many government sector which recruit electronics and communication engineering students. but there competition is very high as most of the student want to join in government sector.

Which one is better m pharm or mba

i am a B.A student, i want to work as Medical Rep so here i want to know is this field suitable to me ? and also want to know growth in this field

if you want to do medical representative job after completion of your B.A exams, then of course you can do it! but proper training is required fo doing this job, and you have to sufficient knowledge about medicine, then you can growth in this field.

There are many scopes after pursuing BPharm. But, salary will be more elevated if you further pursue Masters degree either MBA/MPharm.Besides you can open a medical shop or a chemists shop,become a chemist,can also be a chemistry professor or a lab assistant or a labratory expert,can do lots of experiments if u are interested in this field ,can become a medical representative/transcriptionist.After BPharm, you can get jobs in private as well as government sectors.
In case of government sectors, you can get job as:-
- pharmacist in hospitals
- Technician in college
- Research Analyst
- Drug squad in police department

In case of private sectors, you can get as:-
- Pharmacist selling medicines
- Pharma & Biotech companies
- Pharmacist Consultants
- Food & Drug Industry
Salary of BPharm approximately ranges as Rs. 1,00,000/- to Rs. 3,00,000/- per annum as fresher. It deviates as per your skill & experience.
So take decision wisely.You have many options with you.But according to me you must acquire a higher qualification i.e M.Pharm.

after completion of your b.pharmacy, there are various job opportunity in front ofr you like-
in pharmaceutical industry :
pharma marketing,
production,
Q.C,
Q.C etc.

and other jobs are:
hospital pharmacist,
railway pharmacist,
armey pharmacist,
drug inspector etc.

if you want to know the scope in pharmaceutical industries, then there is very important factor is your experience in that field and then you grow rapidly in this field.

well, you have 6 months experience in mfg. this is good, but marketing field is different field other than production. here your soft skill is very important criteria, and here is not necessary to take extra headache , send your resume to several pharmaceutical company website.

all these people just making casling in air nothing thre is no scope of pharmacy field in india
as pharmacist is assumed as a majdoor and no importance in india well you should try for
america as there is good salary and scope too and also case study there in india pharmacist
module is preapared in packing the drugs only no use of their knowledge and doctors ego problem in india they dont undestand pharmacist suggestion in any medicene and make money from mr only
