Friend you can join Indian Army after passing the 12th class.
For this you have to qualify the N.D.A exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Only a science student can apply for Indian Army after 12th through NDA...

After doing +2 in commerce field and showing interest in getting into Indian Army is very good.

The ways for joining in Indian Army is that you need to write the entrance exam as it is a defence force of India.

Exams that can be Written:

• NDA - National Defence Academy
  
• TES - Technical Entry Scheme

There are certain procedures which is to be undertaken and satisfide in order to apply for the exams and they may include such as:

For NDA:

It is notifies that the candidate appering for this exam must be a citizen of India and should be a unmarried male candidate as it is very essential.

The age limit would include such as that the candidate need to have 16 1/2-19 years

Education qualification for the exam is that the candidate need to have completed +2 from a recognzied school board of education in order to join in Indian Army.

you have choice for army jobs after complete your course like intermediate or 12th
but not choice for cds exam because here subject need for base to exams,
they are physics and maths compulsory for cds.
so now you want army,
in army no limits for job just need height, physical test, writing test.

One can join Indian Army soon after the completion of their 12th class with any of the stream. For this, they have to appear for NDA Exam which is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

In order to become a ARMY officer you must have clear the NDA exam.
IMA stands for INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY,.. It is situated in Dehradun. After 12th, you can appear for the examination called NDA (NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY), through which one can apply for the Indian air force(IAF), Indian naval academy(NA), & Indian military academy(IMA)..
This exam is conducted by the Union public service commission every year for twice.

Educational requirement-

12th degree from a recognized board, In order to apply in IAF & NA , you must posses at least 60% in 12th, with the subject physics & maths ,. otherwise you are only eligible for the IMA .That's why commerce & arts students are also eligible for IMA.


Age limit-

16.5-19 years for all candidates.There is not any kind of age limit relaxation is applicable for the any reserved category. .
