dear sir,now i am doing IGNOU-VIEP part time B-tech mechanical engineering program.now I am studying in coimbatore(tamilnadu) study centre.now i have got a job in chennai(tamilnadu).so can i change my study centre from coimbatore study centre to chennai study centre.its possible or not?if it is possible can you give the available study centre address list (IGNOU-VIEP part time B-tech mechanical engineering program) in chennai? Pl help me.

What is difference between AICTE and IGNOU.

All ignou viep courses(Diploma,Btech) are approved from AICTE,UGC and DEC.
Remember! This programmes are not distance,this are regular face to face flexible time mode! Fee for degree per sem 25000! Total 6semesters for Btech and 4 for Diploma!

if you will go for the this program through the IGNU,then there is no any doubt

that you can appear for the gate exam.

This is for the information of all . IGNOU any techinical programme through distance mode is not recognized by AICTE. Now the question remains whether these technical course not recognized by AICTE are valid or not .. Since IGNOU is only one NATIONAL Central university,thus whether it requires AICTE approval or not is a unanswered mystery ???

I'm working in a industry as a production incharge . I like to do BTech(mechanical) in part time in your's , but I'm a Bsc(physics)graduate-2004.
It's elligible for me to do BTech part time.

if u dont know the real approval about Ignou viep....pls dont make comments..did u get ignou viep prospectus..if no. try to read that....
ignou viep courses are approved by UGC...hence eligible for employemnt and education purpose in all over India

I have appeared the final semester ignou-viep mechanical engineering in June, 2013. Till date, I have not received my pass out certificate. About one year is going to be elapsed and my career is going to be destroyed.Please help me in getting my pass out certificate immediately.

Dear guys....high court slapped IGNOU for conducting technical education thru regular and part tim. becouse IGNOU is approved for non-technical and non-management programes only. for every technical courese AICTE approval is mandatary. as per law. also high court said IGNOU rapped the life of students by conducting the tecbnical programs.

i am one the student from other universty. i wasted money as well as time...

sir iam k nagamohan i completed my btmevi cource from ignouviep,
now it is facing lpa 755/2013 so what about our future studies and job promotions
and is the ignouviep is eligible for govt jobs and is it approved by aicte or ugc
