i have completed M.A.with 63%& M.Phil in English Lit.I have cleared SET exam (June 2011)
but UG degree is in Chemistry (80%)

Am I eligible for lecturer post?

It is equally important to know the govt institute type. It would be more advantageous to have a PhD degree or have some experience in relevant field. If you want to apply in govt. institution then you should give UGC NET exam, it make you eligible for lecturership in computer science subject.
Industrial exposure is helpful to get in engineering colleges.
