Dear friend,

Maharashtra(MH) State Eligibility Test (SET) is an examination for lectureship in Universities and Institutes of Maharashtra.

The MH-SET is conducted by University Grants commission (UGC)who authorizes the State Governments or State Agencies on place of the State Governments to conduct the State Eligibility Test (SET) for lectureship.

The MH-SET examination 2010 is already over.
The next(2011) year you should choose.

1:The forms will be available at the several centers from the month of May.

2:You have to submit the application form within the third week of June.

3:You should have a Masters degree (like you have MBA)with at least 55% aggregate marks . 10% relaxation for ST/ST/PH/VH

4:You can only appear for SET in the subject in which you have done Masters Degree.

5:There is no upper age limit.

6:You can apply in final year or awaiting for your results .

7:The exam centers are Mumbai, Nagpur, Solapur,Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Chandrapur , Panaji (Goa),Pune, Kolhapur, Nashik, Nanded, Amravati.

when will declare the resul of maharashtra setexam held in december 2010.

Availability of SET forms:

The forms will be available at the various centers from the month of May. Students willing to take admission in the various institutes have to collect an application form from the various centers. Care should be taken while up the application form and have to follow all the rules mentioned in the application form. The applicants have to submit the dully filled application form within the third week of June.

Hey Bharath. I believe Maharashtra SET happens only once in a year. This year it was on 13th September, 2009. It was conducted by University of Pune and the form were available in June. For more information about SET 2009 you can refer to the link: Maharashtra SET 2009. Exams like SET follow a similar schedule every year so you can expect that next year as well SET exam will be some time in September. I hope the info helps.
