Yeah, IES exam is different from PSU exams. Only candidates who have bachelor degree in engineering label are eligible for IES exam,
and candidate having bachelor's degree in any stream can appear in state PSU exams.

The syllabus & exam pattern of both the exams are also different.


The IES exams dates is 04.12.2010
Last date of receipt of application is 05.07.2010

last date for receipt of application form for ies is 29-8-2011 and if you meant ies for indian engineering services then the last date for submission of application form is 7-2-2011.

Yes yankee, these two Exams are Different from each others.

Because IES exam is conducted by upsc whereas PSU's are public sector undertaking. These are under Indian government as well as public sectors

there are various type of psu like nalco,bel,bhel,ntpc,ongc.all things are came in emloyement newsm paper and also in freshers world in govt sector........
