Re: Are colour blind people eligible for major PSU Exams and other exams?
actually most of the company take candidate after medical check up. in medical test the check the colour blindness also. as you have colour blindness so it will be very difficul for you to get a permanent job.
but as you have minor colour blindness so you may get a chance to serve in any company. otherwise you have to join in company as temporary employee. for temporary employee they never take medical test. also you may do job in contact basis. these are your last option. first try to get a permanent job in any company. if you fail then go for last option. i am just telling you one thing. there are some company who want only medical certificate. but they never check by their own consultant. you may submit your medical certificate their without colour blindness. but it is a cheating. best of luck. |

Re: Are colour blind people eligible for major PSU Exams and other exams?
Sir,
I have qualified BSNL JTO exam under disabilities category(Hearing Handicapped). But in my medical examination doctor clearly mentioned that I am partially Red-Green colour blind but overall remarks that doctor wrote on medical is "FIT FOR JTO(TELECOM)UNDER DISABILITIES CATEGORY" and department refused to select me on the basis of medical ground. But here you mentioned that PH candidates are eligible for the BSNL job under partial colour blindness which means minor colour blind. So, I request you to ask under which rule you mentioned this line (viz. according to court judgement rule/book rule/department medical standard rule). Please reply me as soon as possible so that I can get my job. I will be very thanksful to you. |

Re: Are colour blind people eligible for major PSU Exams and other exams?
Hello, Color blindness is a disqualification for almost all posts which offer technical job profile.
Please consider your options carefully. I'd advise you to not go for ESE as even after selection you might not get a post due to color blindness. Regards. |
