There are many private institution in which you can get admission or if you dont want to take CAT other option are al;so available like JMET, MAT, SNAP, IBsat.

i am in my 3rd yr B tech in CSE in SASTRA university. I suddenly planed to do my MBA. Is it neccesary to do any competitve exams?

You can do MBA without CAT exam as many universities are now offering the other exams similar to CAT for their MBA admissions like MAT, Mh-CET ,JMET( only for engineers)

IIPM
AIMS
TANCET Tamilnadu
XAT - XLRI Admission Test
OPENMAT by IGNOU

But make sure that your MBA from these universities are a valid one & you can get the same value in the job sector too otherwise both your time & money will go waste.

yes it s possible to enter in MBA without cracking CAT exams, either you can go for MAT exams which are relatively less harder in comparison to CAT or can directly enrol yourself in MBA institutes on payment of prescribed fees.

Please Tell me the Procedure too..

if you can get admission ithout giving cat exams then you can consult with administration of this university because there are some seats of direct based entry. if there you can get easily admission.
