Re: Am I eligible for IAS with 50% in Graduation?
Hello friend,
Its nice to hear that ,you are intrested in IAS . Good news for you is that there is no such marks qualification needed in graduation in order to sit for an IAS exam, they only consider that is you are graduate or not in any discipline so no need to worry of your graduation marks. The only thing required is to have good score in your prelims and mains these two stages of IAS exam marks matters alot .so have to focus more in your IAS EXam . . The score you get from these two stages they will evaluate you on the basis of scores thats it. Secondly age limit is the factor your age must be 21 to 30 years if you are from general category , and if you belong to sc/st then there is a relaxment of upto 3 to 5 years. Thirdly ,there is also a number of attempt criteria ,that is if you belong to general category you will get 4 attempts to appear for IAS exam, and for ST it is 7,SC IT IS UNLIMITED. SO PREPARE HARD.ITS NOT SO EASY. ALL THE BEST . . . |

Re: Am I eligible for IAS with 50% in Graduation?
My friend, there is no percentage criteria for Indian Administrative Service. Your distance education degree would be sufficient to apply for the exam. As long as you manage to clear the graduation course, you will face no hurdle in applying for IAS.
Indian Administrative Service implements the government policy on the ground level. While the senior IAS officers help the government draft the policy, other IAS officers ensure that the policy is implemented properly on the ground. IAS officer consistently travel to places where policy is being implemented. He/She has to ensure that public funds are being utilized properly. The IAS entrance exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The forms are released in the months of November or December. If interested please check the other eligibility criteria and apply for the exam. IAS Eligibility 1. You should be citizen of India. 2. A graduation degree in any stream. 3. There is no minimum percentage criteria. 4. Age limit to apply is 21 to 30 years. 5. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 6. SC/ST candidates are given 5 years relaxation. Exam Pattern 1, Preliminary Exam 2. Main Exam 3. Interview |

Dear Friend,
If you have 50% marks in graduation then you are definitely eligible for the IAS Civil services exam from the educational qualification criteria point of view. The Other Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Civil Services Exam are : * Your age must lie in the age bracket of 21-30 years for General Category Candidates. * There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for those belonging to OBC Category and of 5 years for those belonging to SC/ST Category. * You must be an Indian National. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |
