The FCI conducts food inspector written exam in two parts. The first section includes objective type questions from areas like general awareness, current affairs, Indian agriculture, reasoning and numerical ability, English knowledge and computer knowledge. The next section is descriptive and includes essay type questions. The sample question papers are available in different websites online

Union Public Service Commission conducts All India Food Inspector Exam for the recruitment of food inspectors in various offices all over the country.

Exam pattern and syllabus for FCI exam:

Paper I
General Science ( 50 marks)
Reasoning (50 marks)
Quantitative aptitude (50 marks)
English (50 marks)

Paper II
Quantitative (100 marks)
English and Comprehension (100 marks)

Paper III
Biological Science (200 marks)

Required qualification for FCI exam:

You must have graduation degree in any branch
You must be in age of 18 to 27 yrears
