hi now iam complete my dergee b.com (comp). now how can i applay to join in army service as captain

if i will score more than 90% in 12 class will i get the chance of direct selection or i have to go through written test

if i am 28 years old completed my bitsat,iim and worked for five years as manager,can i join indian army?

sir my friend is working in indin army from last 9 years and joined in army when he was doing his plus tw nd he completed his graduation through correspondence .I want to know what he need to do to get to officers stage and his age is 26 years

first option would be, you can appear for the national defence academy when you are in 11th std. orelse do your graduation and appear for CDS. if you get through indian military academy, you will be a permanent commissioned officer if not then you will be in the OTA and pass out as short service commission officer. later as a ssc officer you can apply for permanent commission. in ssc 10yrs compulsary service and 4 yrs extension. all the best

You cant directly join army as major or captain.So as you are doing 11th now,after your 12th you can write NDA exam taken by the upsc,india.

After passing this exam,you will be commissioned officer in the rank of lieutenant,captain and major.

Procedure to Join Indian Army - ( 5 Stages )

1. Written test,

2. Physical tests,

3. Medical tests,

4. Group tests and

5. Personal Interview.

Educational Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised board.

Age Eligibility For Indian Army - 16 Years to 21 Years.

Physical Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

1. Eye Sight = 6/6,

2. Height = 167 cms,

3. Weight: 50 Kg

4. Chest: 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)

dear aspirant

as you are in class 11th science, you can try nda after class 12th , through nda you can join army on LIEUTENANT post , and then you will get the promotion as per army rules ,

eligibility for nda :

must be a citizen of India
or citizen of Bhutan or Nepal
must be studies physics,chemistry and maths for air force and navy
any stream student allowed for Indian army
age limit should be 16.5 to 19 years
must be unmarried male
must be physically and mentally fit

so you can join army by cracking nda on the post of lieutenant ,

Hi,
You have many option to join Army after Engineering Degree, You can attend CDS examination or Apply for Direct entries ( SSB Interview ).
If you PASS SSB interview you undergo training at IMA/OTA and get commissioned as lieutenant in the Army and Captain .... Major ...Lt. Col so on.
