New Exam Pattern Of AIPMT:-

1)Preliminary exam:-

Question paer containing 200 objective type questions all are objective type.
Paper like:- Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics,Biology
Duration- 3hours

2)Final Exam:-
-----------------------
Also in final paper consist of 120 objective type question from physics,chemistry,biology

Language of question papers is English or Hindi , Option is fill at the time of application form , Later it will not changed in any matter.

Complete Information About AIPMT

AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) is conducted every year for admissions into the top MBBS colleges of India..

The AIPMT tests you for the following three subjects :-

Physics
Chemistry
Biology

Since,this is an MBBS entrance exam..hence the weight-age on biology is very high and you need to be quite strong in Biology to crack the exam

Eligibility Criteria :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out with 50% aggregate or above in Physics,Chemistry and Biology

2) You should be less than 25 years

Exam Pattern :-

The AIPMT exam is divided into 2 parts..
Preliminary Exam
Main Exam

Preliminary Exam :- The preliminary exam shall consist of one paper with 200 objective type questions which will have 4 options and one will be correct..You will be allotted 3 hours for finishing the paper..

Main Exam :- The main exam will consist of 120 objective type questions and you will be allotted 3 hours to complete your paper..

Important Dates :-

As yet,there is no notification for the AIPMT 2012 but i have mentioned the dates for the last year and the dates this year is expected to change marginally only..

The forms shall be available in the month of December

List Date for submission of form was 7th January,2011

Date for the Preliminary Exams was 3rd April,2011

Date For Final Exam was 15th May,2011

You can avail the AIPMT forms from your nearest Canara Bank Branch or from your nearest book depots

Introduction and Measurement
What is Physics? Scope and excitement; Physics in relation to science, society and technology; Need
for measurement of physical quantities, units for measurement, systems of units-SI : fundamental and
derived units. Dimensions of physical quantities. Dimensional analysis and its applications. Orders of
magnitude, Accuracy and errors in measurement – random and instrumental errors, Significant figures
and rounding off the numbers.
Graphs, Trigonometric functions, Concepts of differentiation and integration.
Unit : 2 Description of Motion in One Dimension
Objects in motion in one dimension, Motion in straight line, Uniform and non-uniform motion, its
graphical representation and formulae, speed and velocity, relative velocity, average speed and
instantaneous velocity. Uniformly accelerated motion, velocity-time graph, position-time graph and
their formulae. Relations for uniformly accelerated motion with examples. Acceleration in onedimensional
motion.
Unit : 3 Description of Motion in Two and Three Dimensions
Vectors and scalars quantities, vectors in two and three dimensions, vector addition and multiplication
by a real number, null-vector and its properties. Resolution of a vector in a plane, rectangular
components. Scalar and vector products. Motion in two dimensions, cases of uniform velocity and
uniform acceleration-projectile motion, general relation among position-velocity-acceleration for
motion in a plane and uniform circular motion. Motion of objects in three dimensional space
(elementary ideas).

LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION OF FORM:- 25.01.2012
