For navy you have passed 12th with physics,chemistry,mathematics

Indian Navy can be joined through appearing for the entrance examof NDA.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA -I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for 12th final exam or pass in any discipline from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical fitness.

You can Join Indian Navy provided you have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The candidate has to over come certain prescribed physical fitness test.

HI!
You can join Indian Army after passing graduation,,,
After passing graduation you have to qualify the entrance exam known as Combine Defence Services Exam(C.D.S.E)..

C.D.S Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year...

Age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-24 Year..

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Dear friend

2.) after graduation from a recognized university.

you have to apply and crack CDS (Combined Defense Service) examination conducted by UPSC

After you clear out the CDS exam you will be called for SSB/SSC camp which of duration of 8 to 12 days


Here in camp you have to clear some more examinations like
1.) screening test which includes aptitude test
2.)Group test, here a group of candidates are given some task to complete
3.)story writing
4.)Intelligence test
5.)Group discussions
6.)Interview ETC
When clear these you will under go medical test, after clearing medical test you will selected on all India merit


This Entrance Exam will let the candidates to be placed in the following defence services
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing

age limit is 20yrs to 25 yrs

There is no relaxation in upper age limit at all for the candidates of any category.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this Exam.

Dear there are different qualification for the different differnt posts and there are mainly two catogary technical which is b.tech mainly and other is non technical they are normal graduate students so all the technical dept have the following posts

1.pilot
2.engineer
3.Naval Armament Inspection Cadre

and all the engineering dept regarding

the age limit for applying in these is
IMA 19 to 24 year
Naval academy 19 to 23 year
SSc flying 19 to 23 year

the second dept is non tech in this else all the dept come like education, logistics,accounts etc

the age limit for these is

IMA 19 to 24 year
Navy 21 to 27 year
OTA 21 to 26 year
SSC non tech 21 to 25 year
Law 21 to 27 year

Hello,
The minimum eligibility to join Indian navy in the nautical science and Marine engineering.the minimum qualification required is 12th standard.You must have pursued the diploma course from a recognised institute.Your age should be between 16 1/2 - 19 1/2.NDA gives you the job which you can not even think of it,Its a good choice to for and work for the Nation . If you are interested in joining Indian Navy then you need to complete your engineering.As you have a diploma in computer engineering it would be better if you go for a lateral entry in engineering and then apply in the Navy.

he qualifications for the Indian Navy are as follows:-

-> Age limitation --> 19.5 - 25 years.

-> Educational qualification --> Graduate or post graduate with Physics , mathematics , electronics with a minimum of 55% marks.

-> Eyesight should be 6/6 of both the eyes.

-> Minimum should be 157 cm for male and 152 cm for the females.
