yes you are eligible but you will be given or start your career in army as a soldier rather than a officer. and after clearing medical test and physical test you will assign to different department like clerical, medical, war-soldier etc department.

but your Age should be between 16 to 21 years.
and Physical Standards are following:

Height: 183 cms, relaxable for certain regions.
Weight: 60 kg, relaxable for certain regions.
Chest: 77/82 cm.

no, you first want to give NDA entrance exam and for giving that entrance exam after 10th class you want minimum about 65 percentage.and if you will pass in these examination so you will go to the NDA (National Defence Academy)

Hey friend,

The chances of you getting into Indian Army right after 10th ,it not fair as there is no option for you to get into Indian army with this qualification.

The way is that you need to write the respected entrance exam for joining in Indian Army.

Regarding that the minimum qualification that a entrance exam need for a candidate in order to join in Indian Army is that the candidate must have passed +2.

As you have only completed 10th,you are ineligible to join in Indian Army


There is nothing to worry as things have not gone out of your hands,still you can continue your studies and finish +2 from a recognized school board of education and then apply for the entrance exams.

The exams which you can opt after finishing +2 are:

NDA - National Defence Academy

TES - Technical Entry Scheme



For these exams the candidate need to have completed +2 from a recognzied school board and regarding the age limits the candidate need to have 16 1/2 - 19 years for joining in NDA

For TES it is that the candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 1/2 years.

If you satisfy these criteria's for the exam,then you can apply for them

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for Indian Air Force without passing 12th..

After passing 12th you have to qualify the N.D.A exam..

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying N.D.A exam you can join Defence services like:-
> Army
> Air Force
> Navy

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

> Interview

No, you cannot join Indian Army after 10th class as in order to join the Indian Armed Forces,you need to appear for the NDA (National Defense Academy) Exam which is conducted 2 times every year in the months of April and August by the UPSC for admissions to the following armed forces :-

Army
Air Force
Navy

Candidates willing to appear for the NDA exam must fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria as under-

1) The candidate must have completed his 12th or appearing for the board exams from a recognized board..

2) The candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years as seen on 1st July of the year of the exam.

So it is advisable to you to first complete your 12th class & then proceed the same.However it is good to maintain your physical fitness in between as this is necessary for the NDA cadets.

yes dear,
you can but joining army 10th pass will only get to you into a soilder carde and you mey not get oppertunities of professional groath level.
But I certainly suggest u that ,firstly go for higher studies & than apply for it b`coz it will help u to grow faster with much higher education qualification.
also to grow joining as soilder grade oppertunities to get to get a better post is very very tough.

HOW TO JOIN INDIAN ARMY AFTER PASSING MY 10TH CLASS

No dear you can not join Indian Army after 10th. You need to pass 10+2 exam for apply in Indian Army through NDA.

NDA is National Defense Academy. The exam is conducted bu Union of Public Service. You can join any of the major 3 branches of defense:

>>Army;
>>Navy;
>>Air Force.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1)The age of the candidates should be between 16.5-19 years.

2)Only unmarried Male candidates can apply.

3)The candidates should be Indian.

4)The candidates must pass 10+2 from a recognized board.
For Army: any stream
For Air Force/Navy: should have PCM in 10+2 level.

5)Should be physically strong.
Sight: better eye 6/6 and worse eye 6/9.

My dear friend,

After completion of 10th you can not join Indian Army because the minimum requirement to join Indian Army is 12th class so my friend first complete your 12th class then only you can apply for it.

If you want to join any of the civil service then you have to apply through NDA entrance exam.As there are three types of civil services that are comes under NDA and those civil services are as follows:

1.Indian Military
2.Indian Air Force
3.Indian Navy

If you want to join Indian Army then you can join even after completion of 12th with arts and commerce but if you want to join Indian Navy or Indian Air Force then you can apply after completion of 12th with Science stream only.So keep in Mind!!



But if you want to join these civil services after graduation then you can give CDS entrance exam.CDS stands for Combined Defense Services and it is an entrance exam which is given after completion of graduation only.

No you can not join the Indian Army after 10th class. you have to clear the 12th class with Science with 60% marks.other wise complete the graduation and then fight the CDS exam .But if you want to do job on d grade the you can apply after 10th class.

After class 10th you can not join in Indian Army.To join in Indian Army you are to complete 12th standard from a recognized board.

Eligibility and procedure to join in Indian Army:-

A candidate to join in Indian Army wing have to go through NDA entrance examination.
This NDA Entrance examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
