There is no fixed schedule in the vacancies come out for Air Force group Y.The advertisement comes on national newspaper and employment News.
the two different way of recruitment of Airman are

1). All India test-every year it is conducted,a candidate must hold 50% in 12th standard from any discipline.The age limit is 17-22 years

2).Recruitment Rally-the eligible criteria are same as all India test,with addition to domicile criteria of the region.The eligible candidate are required to participate in the recruitment rally at designated venue.


EXAMINATION PATTERN:-
paper I is mathematics of 300 marks
paper II is general ability is divided into two part
part A-English of 200 marks
part B-general knowledge of 400 marks

Then their is a interview session on the basis of which candidate are selected.
