1. Recruitment of Engineering Assistant (North Zone):
No. of posts: Only 28 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Radio Engineering/Electrical Engineering/IT Engineering/Electronics Engineering from a recognized university is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

2. Recruitment of Engineering Assistant (East Zone):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Radio Engineering/Electrical Engineering/IT Engineering/Electronics Engineering from a recognized university is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

3. Recruitment of Engineering Assistant (North East Zone):
No. of posts: Only 26 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Radio Engineering/Electrical Engineering/IT Engineering/Electronics Engineering from a recognized university is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

4. Recruitment of Engineering Assistant (West Zone):
No. of posts: Only 23 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Radio Engineering/Electrical Engineering/IT Engineering/Electronics Engineering from a recognized university is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

5. Recruitment of Engineering Assistant (South Zone):
No. of posts: Only 50 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Radio Engineering/Electrical Engineering/IT Engineering/Electronics Engineering from a recognized university is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Age Limit:

Candidates should be in between 18 to 27 years of age as on 2 August 2010. Age relaxation as per government rules.

Selection Processs:

The recruitment on the above specified posts will be made on the basis of their performance in written test that will be held on 24 October.

How to apply: Candidates should send the complete application form alongwith an application fee of Rs. 100 (Rs. 25 for reserved category candidates) to the respective Zonal Chief Engineers.

or
Degree with physics as one of the subjects from a recognized university
Or
Degree in Engineering in the relevant field(as mentioned above for diploma) from a recognized university)
Or
Diploma in Sound Recording and sound engineering awarded by film and television institute of India, Pune.

Desirable : Knowledge of Wireless or Radio Engineering

Age : 18-27 years as on 02/08/2010. Age relaxation as per Govt. orders.

Selection Procedure : The recruitment will be made on the basis of written test of two hour duration on 24/10/2010 at 11.00 AM at different centres in India.

How to Apply : The application fee is Rs.100 for Gen/OBC candidates Rs.25 for SC/ST/PH/Ex-serviceman candidates.
The application form can be obtained w.e.f 30.06.2010 to 30.07.2010.

Last Date : 30.07.2010
