Sir, I belong to gen. Category n I hav passed my. 10 2 exam with 59.80% and b.tech with 65%. can I apply for bank p.o.? If there is some limitation regarding my qualification pls suggest me right information. Thanking u..

Dear There ,
If you have completed your graduation then there is no need of 12th marks because if you want to give Bank PO exams , then the minimum educational qualification you require to be eligible for the same is that you must hold a bachelor`s degree from any recognized college / university. Other Eligibility criteria that you reuire are : * You should be an Indian Citizen. * Your age must lie in between 18-28 years. there is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC Category and 5 years for SC/ST Candidates. As you have scored 65% of marks in your BE course, straight away you are eligible to apply for Bank PO jobs.
Here is the eligibility criteria for Bank PO jobs. Completion of Graduation with minimum 60% of marks for the candidates. Candidates of SC or ST category should secure a minimum of 55% of marks in Graduation. The nationality of the candidate should be India. The candidate should have proficiency in the local language. The candidate should have minimum computer knowledge. The age criteria will be 20-28 years of age for the candidates of General category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. Better to apply for IBPS PO Exam which is the common written exam to be placed in any of the public sector bank in India. For this academic year, the notification has not been released yet. Meanwhile you can have good preparation for this Exam as one should have strong preparation to crack this exam. Wish yo all the best. Of course definitely you can go for the bank PO exam.The basic eligibility criteria for the PO exam is to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.Only for the SBI it is 60% marks in aggregate.
As you have scored 65% marks in your bachelor degree course so there is no doubt definitely you can go for the bank PO exam. |

Sure there is no problem in you appearing for the Bank PO exam. Only your B.tech score is considered as a factor. The minimum % required is 86% which you do fulfill. Hope you have pursued the course from a recognised institute. Also you should be at least 18 years of age.[/QUOTE]
