If You Are Interested To applying for the Civil Service Examination, Then You Have To Fullfill These Eligiblity Creteria -

You Must Have To Be Graduates in any discipline from a recognised University And You Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.

And For Civil Service Exams, You Must be Physically fit According to Physical Standards for admission to Civil Services Examination. And You Can Appear This Exams 4 times, If You Have Fails To Pass This exams At Your 4 Attempts, Then You Will Not Appear In This Exams.

So, Please Work Hard For This Exams, If You Really Want to get Sucess In This Exams. If You Want Any Information Regarding This Exams, then Please Visit The Official Websites.

AS you are interested for Civil Service Exam for this exam there are certain eligibility criteria which you have to fulfill.

Qualification:
>>The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university ,
The final year students those you are waiting for the result can also apply for this exam.

Age Limit:
>The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs.
>There is a upper age relaxation for reserved candidates.

>General: 4 Times

CIVIL SERVICES EXAM

I.A.S exam exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Qualification:- Pass graduation with any stream from recognized university.

Age limit:-

ELIGIBILITY for civil service ;

You must be an Indian

Age Limit is 21 - 30 yrs

Age relaxation is up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe.

And,Up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes

Education qualification ;

The candidates should have at least one of the following educational qualifications:

Any degree from any recognised University

A degree from an Open University

A degree received through distance or correspondence education

A qualification recognized by the Government of India as equivalent to any of the following.

The following candidates are also eligible to apply ;

Those who have appeared for the final examination of their qualifying degree

Those who have passed their final examination of MBBS but have not yet completed their internship.


No of attempts ;

4 attempts for General category

7 attempts for OBC category candidates

For SCs/STs, there is no limit on the number of attempts

Eligibility for Civil Service Preliminary exam :

₹ Candidate must complete his graduation degree from any recognized University on India.

₹ Candidate's age limit between 21 years to 30 years.
For SC/ST candidate age limit 21 years to 35 years.
For OBC candidate age limit 21 years to 37 years.

₹ Candidate must be physically fit.

₹ One candidate can seat for this exam only 4 times.
OBC candidate can sit 7 times on this exam.
SC/ST candidate can sit for this exam unlimited times.

Civil Service Examinations are IPS, IES, IAS, IFS etc.

Civil Service Examinations are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

Eligibility criteria for Civil Services preliminary exam: -

1. A candidate must be an Indian citizen.

2. A candidate should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institute / university.

3. A candidate in between 21 years to 30 years of age.

Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services Prelims


The Civil Services Exam is conducted every year by the UPSC for IAS, IPS, IFS, etc..

A candidate is eligible for appearing for the Civil Services Exam only if :-

>> The candidate must be within the age limit of 21-30 years if belonging to the general category..21-33 years for OBC and 21-35 years for SC/ST..

>> The canddidate must be a final year student of graduation or must have already completed his graduation in any stream from a recognized institution..

>> The max number of attempts for general candidates is 4, for OBC its 7 and for SC/ST there is no limit..


Prelims consists of 2 objective papers which will test you on your general awareness and aptitude..

Mains consists of 9 subjective papers including English and your optional subjects..

If you clear the Mains then you will qualify for the final interview..

Hi,

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC )conducts CSAT - Civil Services Aptitude Test for civil services.

There are three stages of this exam -

1- Preliminary exam
2- Main exam
3- Interview

Eligibility criteria for CSAT-

1. Candidate should be of Indian origin.

2- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

3- Age - 21-30 years.

So, you have to be a graduate to appear for Preliminary exam.

UPSC Conducts Civil Services Examination.In Civil Services there will be two papers in Preliminary Exam as well as two paper in Mains Exam.To apply for UPSC Civil Services Examination you will required to meet these eligibility conditions :
  • Your minimum academic qualification should be Graduation pass out in any discipline from any recognized university.
  • Your age should be between 21 years - 30 years.
There is also attempt limitations for UPSC Civil Services and this limitations is only for General and OBC candidates.
  • General Candidates can apply only 04 times.
  • OBC Candidates can apply only 07 times.
Reserved category candidates are eligible to get the age relaxation facility.But for this you will have to submit your Caste certificate during written exam.
  • SC/ST/Physically Handicapped persons get 05 years of age relaxations.
  • OBC candidates get 03 years of age relaxations.
  • Widows(For Female) will get 07 years of age relaxations.
Preliminary Exam is also known as CSAT(Civil Services Aptitude Test).This Exam consists of two papers.Its details are as follows :-
