Hi,

Age Between 19-1/2 to 25 years.

Science Graduate with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics .
OR

Post Graduate in Science with minimum 55% marks in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics.

Minimum height Male - 157 cms,
Female - 152 cms with correlated weight.

The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.

If you want to join in Indian Navy,

first you can appear for NDA Examination

NDA - National Defence Academy

This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e. NDA - I NDA - II

NDA have three wings

Indian Air Force

Indian Navy

Indian Army

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination

Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry ) subjects

Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years there is no age relaxation for this examination

Candidates should be a citizen of India

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination

Selection Procedure

Written Examination

MEdical Test

Interview

Hi Guest,

There are various entry level examinations to get into Indian Navy.

You can join Indian Navy by applying to the following type of examinations
TES Exam (Technical Entry Scheme): if you have completed 12th Standard you can apply for the examination.

CDS Exam: If you have completed Graduation, then you can apply for the CDS examination.

Apart from the above mentioned eligibility criteria there are various other schemes to get into examination.

you can join in Indian Navy in many ways.

if you can do engineering courses then it will be very essay for you to get chance in Indian Navy.

1.through UES. which exam you can appear in the final year of your btech.

2.through UPSC exam. this exam you can appear after your graduation course.

3.through TES scheme.

Hi friend......

To join Indian Navy you can apply for the NDA exam.

NDA Eligibility:

You should be citizen of India.

You should complete the 12th standard from any recognized University.

no percentage required.

Your age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Female candidates are not eligible.

Candidate should be Physically fit for this exam.

Selection Process:

Written Test
Interview
Medical Test

Eligibility To Join Indian Navy


After completion of your graduation, in order to join the Indian Navy..you can appear for the Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam which is conducted by UPSC in the months of February and September..

A candidate can appear for the CDS Exam only if :-

>> The candidate is within the following age limits :-
> Indian Navy :- 19-22 years
> Indian Air Force :- 19-23 years
> Indian Military Academy (IMA):- 19-24 years
> Officer'sTraining Academy :- 19-25 years


Candidates appearing for the exam shall be tested on the following topics with each section carrying 100 marks each :-

>> General Awareness
>> English
>> Maths


Candidates are required to clear the following rounds in order to clear the exam :-

>> Written Exam
>> Interview
>> MEdical Examination


You can visit http://upsc.gov.in which is the official website of UPSC for more details about the exam..
