I am a central govt employee with less than 5 lac annual income. My mother is unemployed but brothers are employed. Can I availed myself Non Creamy Layer certificate. I am eager to apply for NET exam but my PC in master is 53 only.

i am working in Private Company comes under IT. My gross salary is Rs.400000. my parents are not working. And they are not getting income from any other sources. If I want to apply for some other posts, am I eligible for OBC Non-creamy layer reservation? reply me [email protected].

what is the difference between creamy layer and non creamy layer? What is the base of it?

I belong to NC OBC category.. But I dont have any proofs for it .. So Can I register in General category .. Is that a mistake if i intentionally change the category from NC OBC to General..

I have applied for UPSC. My family income is less than 4L p.a so am eligible for reservation under OBC.
Now am getting married and my Hubby is also OBC but his income is more than 10L per annum. Since they have mentioned like family income should not be more than 4.5L or 6L to claim reservation
do I still come under reservation after my marriage?? please answer

this is based on the per annum salary of your parents.
if it is more than 6 lac than you fall under the category of OBC-Creamy layer.
if it is less than 6 lac than you fall under the category of OBC-Non Creamy layer

I would like to inform you that the base of discrimination is on the salary or income.
If your father's annual income is equal to or more than 4,50,000 then you are under creamy layer that means you will not get any concession in fee whereas non creamy lsyer is whose father's income is less that 4,50,000. They get the concesdion and other benefits as per the government rules.

Respected sir, I'm Qureshi I come under OBC I'm a teacher in a pvt school. My annual salary is 288000/- I have daughter I'm facing problems to educate them. I don't have OBC caste certificate even then proof as the department asking 1965's proof to show the residence of Mumbai. Kindly advice me what should I do to get the caste certificate.
