i am doing my mtech rite now can i do MBA as well as with my mtech

dear friend,
i think you can not do mba with m.tech,
you can not get dual degree, you have to
do mba but firstly you have to finished
your m.tech, after than you can do mba.
but along with m.tech, you can't do mba............

both the courses you have mentioned are equivalent to each other.....
doing m.tech and mba will be not of good use .

you get totally different jobs in both he fields........
you should have decided to go for management or masters at the very early time of your career........
management and masters are totally different fields .......you might face a lot of problems doing both the courses.....

so my advice to you is to concentrate on your masters degree and do well in that........
although you can try for mba after m.tech ..........but it will be good for you to do well in masters and get a good job after that which will be give you almost same package that you might get after mba.........

if you are doing now the m.tech from any university,
then there is no any problem,
you can do the mba at the same time,
but you have to manage the time and cover the syllabus,
so it will be better if you will do mba through distance education along with the m.tech ,
now it is your choice.

no both of them together are not possible you wil have to choose one both pof them have equal scope you can choose any one without any doubt.but the one with which your base is clear should be chosen.where m tech gives you complete satisfaction mba gives u all this with money and luxury its your wish to choose

both the courses have different prospects.
you can not do both of them at a time.
both the courses have their own importance and both of them are huge in respect of their
syllabus.
in one side,
MBA is totally based on the management studies .
whereas on the other side
M.TECH is based on the innovation.

so my dear friend,i would suggest you to do any one at a time.

Sorry no i dont think you can do that. I highly recommend you do continue with your M Tech and later if possible after M tech you can go for you MBA.

yes ofcourse you can do MBA along with M Tech.but it will be of no use.M Tech is related to computer and MBA is related to business.It basically depends upon your interest.

I am 2009 passed out and 1 year experience in my core job ...i am be electricel & electronics student should i go for mba r mtech will part time mba successful & beneficial for me???

And i want to change job and shift to good firm will it help me??

You can also MBA in correspondence and do it if you can.That will give you the benefit of dual PG degrees.But this will be extrerme difficult.

since both are professional courses. and for such courses you have to appear in person. i think it is not possible for you.

I have completed my B.Tech Biotechnology. I have got a merit seat for MBA in a reputed institution. I have a dilemma whether to go for MBA or for M.Tech. Is that possible to do M.Tech in full time and MBA in correspondance at the same time(i.e., simultaneously both during the same two years).

I hear from people that both are professional degrees and can't be done at the same time.. Is it true??? if so is it the same case here too (M.Tech in full time and MBA in correspondance).

I can manage doing both. but i want to know whether it can be done and is it valid???

you can do both the course one after another....but there is difference between the two course.....
1.mba is a course which has a huge scope in management field...i.e .related to business..
2.m.tech is course which has a huge scope in techinical field or research field....
so, according to me you should do only one course for your future.....

you can do Mtech after completion of your MBA..

my suggestion is go for MBA first.. after that if you not get a job then you can do Mtech through GATE exam..

yes, if you are very interest to get both of degrees you first complete M.Tech through GATE and then go to MBA.

Yes, It is possible to join MBA course (PGDM in case of IIMs) in IIMs after MTech.
You will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria ie 50% marks in graduation at least. There is no age limit.
This year the registration for CAT examination is over. If you are about to finish Mtech this year only and not registered for CAT then you have missed this year chance. You can apply next year. The application forms remain available in the moth of Sep.

Getting into an IIM (specially top 3-4 IIMs like Ahmedabad, Banglore, Calcutta and Lucknow), definitely leads one to world of high earning and a very good life. Even if you get a job right after completing MTech and a chance to get into top IIMs, you should go for IIMs.
If this is your final year in MTech and till now you haven't registered for CAT then you have missed one chance.
You can apply next year for CAT.
MTech is not at all concerned here. You should have score minimum of 50% in your graduation. Also there is no age limit.

both these fields are totally different but in sense of degree both are same so you cant do dual course of same power at a time . also it is not going to give you any benefit.; so focus only on one either m.tech or mba not both.

Ther's a way through which u can pursue both the degress along. U have to do MBA through correspondence. U can do M.tech as regular student. With this u can complete both of ur degress along. IGNOU is an option for doing MBA through correspondence.

no you can not do MBA and M.tech at a time. first complete your M.Tech then if you are interested in MBA go for it. otherwise you have to leave M.Tech now and you may join in MBA.

i think you should concentrate on what are you doing right now. after completion of that you should think about MBA or further higher study.

How can you get so much time to think of getting MBA in parallel with MTech. Just concentrate on your MTech, otherwise it will get ruin your career. First get Mtech, then some experience and after that you can apply to do MBA if necessary.

You cannot go for MBA and Mtech simultaneously.
As you are in Mtech so better do this only and after its completion you can have job which is equivalent to the job after MBA.
And doing both not give you good result in either exams.

I think it depends on your interest as you like core field then go for Mtech.
But if you want to change your profile and want manegerial skills then go for MBA.

There are various programme of IIM if any programme suits your qualification then surely you can join IIM after IIt.

If you want to do MBA full time from IIM then you must clear CAT it doesnt make difference weather you are from IIT or any other institution.
But in other programme their might be some benifits for you.

I am doing my MBA and want to do M.Tech.. I am doing MBA from regional college and not so reputed that I can't get placement from that. and this decision is very wrong that I give up from my CAT study and just go for MBA from this college..
Now want to crack GATE and doing from right college only. and It's that i have to know early that in what i interested.. but... people around me called me to taking job after MBA rather than doing M.Tech. ... I am in dilemma ...

Although it might not seem so, doing MBA and MTech separately is a waste of time, money and resources. You might want to pursue MBA by distance learning courses conducted by various universities across India, while you study MTech at a particular college. But I recommend that, since most firms look for either of the two degrees, you should concentrate on one, and not both.

Yes, of course you can do MBA along with MTech.

But you can not do MBA through regular (full time) mode. You can do part time MBA.

Since you are doing MTech it is not advisable to do MBA along with it because of 2 reasons. First it is not easy & feasible to do 2 post graduate courses simultaneously. Secondly part time MBA won't benefit you much as compared to full time MBA.

1)Yes you can do both the Degree at the Same time, but one degree in General and Another Degree in Part time or Distance Eduction only you can do

2)You feel very hard to crack both the Exam at the Same time, if you have great intelligent you can do the course

3)My thought is that finish one degree with full concentration and get a job,then you finish MBA ,then only you will understand both Concept, but doing both the course is no use, Both are different Line, one is Technical and another is Business and Admin Orientated

Of course you can do both courses simultaneously, but only the thing is that, one course should be in regular and other course should be in correspondence.

You can do M.tech in regular and MBA in correspondence. Because for M.Tech you have to more knowledge on subject oriented, so it's not advisable to do in correspondence.

Regarding the job opportunities for both degree you get completely different opportunities.

So according to me, it's not a good idea of doing both these courses together.

First of all I would like to know that whether this decision to do MBA and M Tech together is to save the time. If it is, then it is wrong.


Any subject if learned and not applied at the place of work then it is not really worth.


As per my views first learn then apply on the work place and experience the results.

At last i stroungly suggest you that first you complete your M.tech work in the field and gain sufficient experience then go for M.Tech.
