i am good in math and sci but more intrested in math
i am bit confused about my career what should i choose sci or commerce?

if im taking commerce which all are the courses offered after 2
by studying commerce can i join in ARMY, NAVY etc ?

is it necessary to take bridge course for commerce?is it rigt field for distinction holders?

Both Have a Good Scope

Choose the branch which interest you. Dont go after people saying science is better than commerce. Its nothing like that. If you do you commerce later do BBA then MBA you will earn double than science gradutes. Even there are more jobs for commerce students.
So I am insisting on a word called Interest:
If you have interest in Science then go for it and if you have interest in commerce just do it.
Just sit back and think what you exactly want to do in you life and you can also take the help of your parents.

at present u are in confused state .... let me clear the basic difference about the both.....

according to general view career scope in commerce is the best option

because, if u opt for commerce u have wide scope into any business section ..

(from professonial to personal business front)........

if u have the skills of leadership, smart business

mind,initiative ,self motivator,effective and impressive communication.....etc....it will be beneficial for your career into it...


if u choose science you should be hard worker, depending upon your goal

choose u can select particular stream in science .. which will direct u directly

to the field in which u are interested..............

how can we know we are interested in a particular field?

Thats a perfect question which you asked..

Ans : This question can be answered only by you... I mean there is no better person who can know in which you are interested in than you yourself... for eg. just take that you are really good in doing something for example playing cricket, the first reason for you to be good in that is nothing but the interest which you have developed to cricket.. now the same applies to your studies, you must have some subjects in your mind which you are really happy and interested in to study.. i know now the answer from you will be " Well, am not interested in any subjects as of studying", but the fact is you have to start studying with interest but not the sake of studying for your parents and people around which everyone do even me too... but i always had one thing in mind that i should make my future in computers so took computer in 12th grade and now here i am successfully completed my B.E with 2 jobs in hand by His Grace..

-> If this still does not answer your question, just take some time for a day and analyse yourself in what you are good at and which field will be suited for you it may be electrical if you are good in physics, maths or computers or bio- tech or what ever it may be... just make a list of things which you are good in and try to rate it by yourself and go for the one which helps you to shine in what you are good at..

-> Still confused.. and saying that still i don't have any interest... then the perfect thing which you can do is...Just put the trust in yourself and what ever the field you are going to take develop the interest in it and work hard..

choose the stream in which you are strong and interested.This will make your future better.

It all depends on your interest,in which field you are interested.Whether you take science or commerce,both has bright futures.Nowadays there are many fields to choose.

I think this is based upon your interest...in which you have interest go for that....not thinking about after that....if you do well in your field then i will gurantee that you will get good job......

both the stream are really good.and both have almost equal oppurtunity in future,
future in selecting any of the stream is good.
sceince stream:-
after 12th in sceince u can pursue
BTECH(engineering),
MBBS(medical)
phrmachy

commerce stream:-
u can go for charttared accountant as it has the most respectable position in the job sector.


choose any one option which u think is the best and u feel that u can make a future out of it.

First of all it all depends on your interest and inclination. Being a commerce student I can advise you to take commerce, as its scope has become huge in our country and is almost at par or somewhere even ahead than Science.
Rest, you can switch to something in commerce later if you don't want to study further Science (after 12th), but the same is not applicable for commerce.
So choose wisely, its your interest which should be deciding in the end.

Every students are have likes or dislikes for subject. So after passing 10th exam its students choice what they want to do.

If students choose science after 10th, they have choice to select commerce after passing 12th exam, but if student select commerce after 10th they have no other option after 12th.

So select science so other options are open.

Science or Commerce? Which one should I choose after 10th for better career in future

Stream is not a matter of concern as there are possibility of good jobs in both of these stream. Only you need to do is to choose the subject of your choice and interest so that you can focus on your study. Today there is no need of simple worker but there is still the need of skilled worker so try to get the skill not only the theoretical portion.

As far as science is concerned you can go for the following courses to get a good job :

(1)Engineering

(2)Medical

(3)NDA

(4)SCRA

e.t.c





Similarly you have good job opportunities in commerce field also :
(1)CA

(2)CS

(3)HOTEL MANAGEMENT

(4)ICW

e.t.c


so, work hard in your field ,you will definitely get success.

Science and commerece both field have a good scope. so after passed your 10th class you will choose any branch with your own interest. You can observe from your 10th class in which subject you are most interested.

If you are good in mathematics and interested with science then you can choose science.

Otherwise you can go for commerce.if you take commerce later you can go for BBA,MBA after compliting you have a good career in future.

GO for what you want.... don't think about other's its your career. Its on your interest.

First introspect yourself. You will find a way out. Find out what interest you the most. Go with your strengths. You dont have to follow your friends, your classmates or anybody. You are your best judge. Do what you like the best. You may wonder why are people telling me this but in the long run you will understand the importance of making a right decision at the right time. If you are good in reasoning and math, choose the science stream. If you wanna be a C.A. or I.C.W.A or want to pursue higher studies in management, opt for commerce stream. If you wanna get into teaching or appear for civil services examination then arts would be the best stream. Follow your conscience and it will surely guide you in the best possible way. I' m sure you will make the right decision.

Both science and commerce have good career oppurtunities.
However if you take science then there is vast carer aspects.If you find it difficult then later you can jump to commerce also.
So it is better to have science background.

Its not that one area has better future and other one is not have better future.

Its you who is going to decide the better career for yourself.

Both areas are having very good scope and very good job prospects.

Having to enjoy good career in Science or Commerce depends on you.

What i would suggest you is to identify your interest with respect to both the subjects and choose the one which you have more interest.

And at the same time analyze yourself with respect to the chosen subject and try to inculcate much more knowledge of the subject.

Try to be updated with the day to day happenings in your chosen area and try to adopt yourself with the changing conditions.

In my opinion both are the good scope.Select the branch in which you have interest.if you do commerce then you can do BBA,B.COM which is very good job in this you can earn a good salary.Think about both the scope & decide which you have interest.

It totally depend upon your interest if you are interested in science then go for it and if you are interested in commerce then go for it.
Both the field are having almost the same future oppotunities.
You will be able to earn the same income in both the field but nowadays commerce field is booming very much so if you opt for that then you may get a much better life than you will get if you opt for science.

Choose what you feel best according to your interests.

Simply think of your interests. Find out whether you are interested in medical, engineering or in Chartered Accountancy, MBA etc.You should find out what are your skills. Do you think that you possess good managerial skills - go for commerce then MBA. If you think you have good planning skills and have interest in Accountancy then go for C.A. Commerce. If you are interested in Science then go for it. You must listen the views of everyone but ultimately you should decide what you have to do. Don't go by what the society, friends, parents will think. Don't depend on what percent you get in 10th 0r 12th. In today's world there are immense opportunities in each field. What is required is to have firm determination and hard work to become the best in whatever you do. Every course demands hard work. So don't think that taking science is a status symbol etc etc.. You will find excellent opportunities Commerce too..So best of luck. The eligibility for civil services is only graduation in any field so you can apply form it after graduation from commerce field also. For universities you will have to appear for their own entrance exams like for Manipal university they have their own entrance exam.

If you are intrested in Maths and physics then you choose Science as you carrier subject because under the science you have to read maths and physics ...
