At 10+1/10+2 level it would be wise to choose Science stream with Non-Medical subjects such as PCM or any other suitable combination as per desire.

Well the ideal subject for a student who wish to become a software engineer should as follows:

Main Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Other subject which can be studied would depend upon individual choice and subjects offered by the institution/school.

you must opt for science side in 11th standard.

available options are :-
[A] choose option from (1) and (2)
1) opt for PCM ( physics , chemistry and maths)
2) opt for biology, chemistry with maths

[B] choose any of the following option.
1) opt for engineering drawing
2) opt for computer-science.
3) opt for physical education.

Hence in total , option [A] and [B] are compulsory.choose one option from [A] and one from [B].

i got c2 in maths and c1 in science , which group is best for me?

Dear pal,
It is nice to you predetermined in your ambition.To become a software engineer you need to choose maths, physics,chemistry.You can achieve it by doing Engineering course or by doing MCA.
you need to apply for the Bachelor in Engineering degree For your interest you need to chose Computer science or Information technology. Followed by which you need to choose your masters degree.
If you chose the other way then you can do BCA ,3 year course followed by MCA, for doing BCA maths is not compulsory but for MCA you need to have chose maths in +1.

Better to take MPC (maths, physics and chemistry) in your 12th standard i.e including 11th class also.

After 12th standard, give an AIEEE entrance for graduation courses.

Get good rank in AIEEE.

Then you will be getting admission in Top engineering colleges,like IIT's
and NIIT's

In that college choose computer science branch.

After completed the four year engineering course, i.e B-TECH, you will be treated as software engineer.

If you interest in furthers studies you can do M-TECH. by giving GATE entrance exam

But,After doing B.tech one can be called as Computer Engineer.
finally software developers only concentrate developing software coding part,
but b.tech engineers concentrates with verity of platforms such as developing,

Dear Aspirant,

When answering your question remembers me that i asked the same question to my dad.

So he said any course you take can be helpful for your software engineering.

And there is no course directly relates for the software engineer.

So you could take any course of your wish.The software engineer courses will start after the 12th.

So no problem if you take bipc or mpc or mec or anything.

It totally depends on which course you take after 12th.

So mostly preferred courses are the MPC for the career in the software engineer.

If your aspiring to become Software Engineering then you have to Operate 12th standard in science stream with Physics , Mathematics and computer Science ....

After Qualified in 12th standard you have to apply for " Bachelor of Computer Engineering" course ( B.E or B.tech in Computer Engineering ). It is an Bachelor degree . The duration of the course is for four years and the course is divided into eight semester..

To get admission for this B.TECH or B.E Computer Engineering course then,, One should complete 12th standard in any science stream like, Physics / Mathematics / Computer science / with more then 60% percentage of marks from recognized university or Institution .

The admission for B.tech course is based on the Entrance Examinations like, AIEEE ( All India Engineering Entrance Examination ) , BITSAT , IIT-JEE etc.. with good percentage of marks . Based on the entrance examination score you may get admission for this B.Tech or B.E Course ..

Along with your 10+2, have good preparation for the Entrance Exam that give admission for Engineering course.
