For Technical Entry BE, B Tech or equivalent or a higher qualification in civil or electrical or mechanical or electronics engineering, computer science, telecommunications engineering and architecture is needed. Specialist entry is for those with 50 per cent marks in: 1.Graduate B Sc with a minimum one-year diploma in computer science 2.Graduate with a minimum one-year diploma in communication or journalism or public relations or psychology 3.B E in remote sensing Short Service commission (Technical) giving opportunities to unmarried Male engineering graduates. there is no need of a minimum percentage for engineering services examination ,just an graduation degree in engineering is enough to write the exam,
this year the last date for applying is already over, the exam is going to be held in the month of June , its an three day exam |

indian engineering services exam almost relevant to GATE exam but don't have any restriction on the percentage at graduation or post graduation stage
it's better to not think about this exam if anyone at 45 to 50% sorry for frankly writing because the competition will be very tough and you can't get through it if you're with that percentage in the first attempt getting job is very lucky and rare too even the subject only matters in the exams like this but with out minimum of 60% its a real time waste in your career and very stress full too |

Hai,
Indian engineering service eligagkity criteria: Age should be 21 to 30years. Graduation in engineering from any recognised university with atleast 50% marks. The candidate should be a citizen of india. All the best. |

I am student of R07 regulation(with out eamcet spot admitted in 2007). I completed two years of my B.Tech in EEE. I was detained after 2-2. Now I join in 3rd year in 2012-13 batch. I received scholarship upto 2-2. Can I get any scholarship. caste is SC.please give me information soon. the last date to apply scholarship is 15-12-2012. |

IES stands for Indian Engineering Service. This exam conducted by UPSC every Year. ELIGIBILITY: You should complete the Graduation in Engineering. Engineering courses are Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical & Elecronics Engineering Electronics & Communication Engineering Age limit: The candidate minimum age limit is above 21 years. The candidate maximum age limit is below 30 years. The upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories. 33 years upper age from OBC candidates. 35 years upper age from SC\ST candidates. 40 years upper age limit from Physical Handicapped. Hi Buddy,
There is no minimum percentage criteria for attending the IES Exam. Your selection purely depend upon the performance in the test and interview. Only some Government Organizations like BHEL, ONGC, ISRO have minimum percentage criteria and their selection is based on PSUs Exams, Gate and not IES. All the best. Prepare with 100% confidence for IES, U will get through. |
