as per new rule how many times can we appear for gate exam

hello dear


the GATE eligibilty is given below

1.minimum graduation in engineering.

final year & prefinal year btech students are allowed to attain in the gate exam.

2.after msc doing msc. students are also eligibile to attain in the gate exam.

there have not any age limit to attain in the gate exam.

you can attempt many times gate exam.

there is no limit on number of attempts in gate exam. but giving exam again and again has no meaning. you must give it one or two times with full prepapration so that you will get admission in a good college

dear there as many attempt you want no limit is there ok but the validity of the score card is for two years

there is no such criterion for GATE.

you may appear in GATE how many time you want. there is no fixed limit to appear in GATE. so be prepare and appear in GATE and try to crack it within a few chances.

There is no limit for the exam as it is not mentioned in the prospectus.
Give as many times as you want to.

i see the official site of gate but there is not mention for the number of attempts,but ya score is valid for 2 years.

There is no any limitation .you can attempt as many times you want. but the GATE score are valid upto 2 years. you can take admission on the basis of that.

I dont know any limit of attempting for GATE,i think there has no limit...
Any age's candidate can apply for GATE any time after b.tech or a master degree...

Hello friend...Well there is no limit for appearing GATE exam as of now.You can appear for any number of times until you are satisfied with the scores but the scores for GATE is valid only for two years.Even there is no age limit for GATE exam.

Hi...Well up to my knowledge there are no limits for writing GATE exam and even for the age also.You can write the exams for as many times you like for.Its an graduate aptitude test for B.E students.

well friend,

There is no permissible limit for this exam till now and yeah you can write at the pre final and final year of your engg. course but one thing you should keep in mind is that The GATE SCORE is valid for two years and Its never too late.

There is no limit for the number of attempts for GATE.

GATE 2010 score is valid for a period of 2 years.

1)B-tech ,B-arch are eligible with 60%
2)MCA,MSC degree are eligible.

you have chance to many times to crack the GATE exam. there are no limitaion for GATE attempts.

THIS EXAMINATION , known as GATE examination, does not have such kinds of restriction of appearing.students starts to give this exam in their pre final year.at present the validity of gate score card is for 2 years.

you can appear for gate exam as many times you like.but you are not in position to appear for gate exam after 4 to 5 years of your b.tech. degree.

* There is no limit for age in gate exam.
* Candidates should be graduate in B.E or B.Tech Engineering

It is not necessary to give gate exam to do m.tech.
You can also give entrance exam in different university to get admission in m.tech.
Like-jamia and indraprastha university have their own entrance exam for m.tech.

There no limit on number of attempts of GATE.There is no limit on age also.Gate score is valid for 2 years.

DEAR FRIEND

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Its an all India level test which is jointly conducted by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institute of Technology. If you wish to do masters in technology then you need to give this examination.

Following students can sit for GATE exam:-

If you are a bachelor's degree holder in Engineering/Technology/Architecture then you can sit for this exam provided the degree is a full time regular one of four year's duration. If you are in the final year of B.Tech awaiting the result of the exam or about to give the final exam then also you can give this exam.
If you have master's degree science or mathematics or computer science or statistics then also you can give this exam. Final year students too are eligible.
If you are in the second or higher year of Four-year Integrated Master degree programme in Engineering/Technology or in the third or higher year of a Five-year integrated master degree programme in Engineering/Technology then also you can sit for this exam.


Exam Pattern:-

Mainly objective type questions are asked in this exam which means clear concept of all subjects should be there so that at least you can attempt as many questions possible. An OMR sheet will be given to you containing 65 questions and total marks allotted for the exam is 100 marks. The total paper needs to be finished in three hours' time.

Mostly the objective questions will be of MCQ types where each questions will have four options and you need to choose the right one. There's negative marking too. There is negative marking of 1/3rd marks for one mark question and 2/3rd marks for two mark question.

Please remember that there is no age criteria as such and you can give this exam for as many times you want. No restrictions over there as well.

This year's online exam is already over and the offline exam is yet to take place.
