I.A.S stands for Indian Administrative Service Examination.

I.A.S examination is divided into three sections : 1)Preliminary 2)Main 3)Interview.

Civil Service Preliminary Examination,2012 :-

Date of Notification : 04/February/12

Last date for receipt of application : 05/March/12

Date of Examination : 20/May/12

Eligibility Criteria :-

The candidate must possess a graduate degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.

The candidate age should be between 21 years and 30 years as on 1st august of the year of examination.

The relaxation is given to the various reserved categories.

Candidates who are appearing in the final semester of degree course can also apply for this examination.

The notification was published in the month of February in the official website or employment news papers.

Hi dear,

the details of next IAS exam is as follows:

name of the exam: civil service (prelim.) exam-2010

date of notification:02.01.2010

date of submission of application form:01.02.2010 (MONDAY)

date of examination:23.05.2010 (SUNDAY)

also you should be of more than 21 years of age .
