IS THERE IS ANY UNIVERSITY IN INDIA THOSE ARE APPROVED BY AICTE FOR B.TECH. COURESES?????PLZ. REVERT BACK SOON.

respected sir this is babita behera.from odisha.if i do my B.A. in karnataka state open university.then can i do my M.A. in regular mode in any colllege in odisha.do the certificate of ksou university differ from any other universities which provided regular course.

I passed diploma mechanical passed 2008 complitly ,i have 4years exp in comany,i study in betch(mechanical)in karnataka open universty apporved aicte ,please reaply [email protected]

As KSOU is an Open University, the most important recognition for this University would be DEC, however, if you want to get into a government job, it would be important to have a UGC approval, and as KSOU is approved by both UGC & DEC, in all probability you would be eligible for government jobs as well. However, the eligibility to apply for government jobs would be company specific so if a particular govt. association has some more requirements apart from this you need to fulfill those. if an Institute is approved by UGC it doesn't require AICTE approval.

Dear Friend,

The University Grants Commission has recognized the Karnataka State Open University.

But The Karnataka State Open University has not got approval for offering Technical Degrees(B.Tech) from the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE).

So , it will be better to do the B.Tech from any other AICTE approved college/university instead of the Karnataka State Open University.

sir my age is 54 years I have compleated Diploma in Mechanical General in 1978 my abition to do the AMIE MECHANICAL,but child hood,fortunately i could not done the course,please tell me whether I can study the Btech in mechanical in KSOU at this age

I have done my diploma in mechanical from institute of mechanical engineers ( IME), under govt of HRD. In the cerficate it shown tech . engineer. Can I apply B.Tech from karnataka open university.

I have passed 12th and I have done I.T.I. Wireman and complete diploma in Electrical(distance education)From IASE University Sardarshar.I want to know that this university AICTE,UGC approved? from 2008-09 and I am servicing in Border Security force. but BSF is not conceder my diploma, his say something.
1.Whereas, on scrutiny of tentative seniority list, it was observed that many of Head Const (Tech) have obtained 3 years diploma in Civil & Electrical engineering through distance education mode.

2. Accordingly, on query, AICTE (All Indian Council for Technical
Education) has informed that three years diploma through distance education mode in the field of Engineering is invalid.
