Re: Admission in B.Sc Agriculture is possible without appearing in any entrance exam?
B.Sc Agriculture is four year duration course after 12th from a recognised board.
Yes, to get admission in government colleges or well renowned private institutes candidates have to appear and qualify in entrance examination. The basis eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed 12th with PCB/PCM as main paper. So, if you have not applied for examination this year you can appear for examination in 2018. So, do better preparation to qualify in examination and get admission in a better institute. |

Re: Admission in B.Sc Agriculture is possible without appearing in any entrance exam?
B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) in Agriculture is an under graduate degree which is an 4 years course. The admission process varies according to the state and college. Some colleges give admission based on the qualifying exam and some based on the Entrance exams.
Eligibility: - Minimum qualification is 10+2 in science (physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics) or agriculture stream. Depending on the Universities the combination of subjects varies. There are two ways of getting admission: 1. Direct admission: This is based on the qualifying marks merit. No other interviews are conducted in this type of admission. 2. Entrance exams: In this process you need to clear the entrance exam conducted by some institutions and universities then you need to attend the counseling after this you'll get admission. This are the few entrance exams - ICAR (ICAR-AIEEA), EAMCET, PAU, KEAM, IGKV-CET. |

Re: Admission in B.Sc Agriculture is possible without appearing in any entrance exam?
Since you want to reappear in all your five papers of your Class 12th board examinations having failed in three out of the five papers then you can certainly appear as it depends upon candidates choice in how many papers he/she wants to reappear.
Further I would like to let you know that having failed in three papers you are not eligible for appearing in compartmental examination which would mean a loss of one year of your academics. Also your improvement examination will be held along with the next year board examination and you will need to appear in board examination as a private candidate. |

Yes, it is possible to get admission in B.Sc Ag.course without appearing in entrance examination on merit basis but only in some of the private institutes.
So, if you want to get admission in a better institute you must have to appear and even qualify in entrance examination conducted by it. The question paper contains questions of PCM for 12th with science stream while PCB for those who have pursued 12th with Biology stream. For admission in Central government institutes you have to appear and qualify in ICAR examination. |

Re: Admission in B.Sc Agriculture is possible without appearing in any entrance exam?
B.Sc ( Bachelor of Science ) in Agriculture is a bachelor degree course of three years having good scope in country like India which is agro based.
The minimum educational qualification required for pursuing the same course is a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology or Agriculture as main subjects with at least 50% aggregate from a recognized board of education. Having not appeared in any entrance examination held for admission in same course you are not eligible for pursing same degree course from any government agriculture colleges or ICAR approved colleges known for offering quality education in the same course. Few agricultural colleges offering admission without entrance examination are as here under :- * Acharya N.G. Most probably you are not eligible to get admission in colleges in agriculture without appearing in entrance examination.
So, you can wait for next year to appear for examination and qualify in it for admission. But, if you want to get admission in current session you must visit some private college as they offer admission on merit basis also (rarely ). |

Re: Admission in B.Sc Agriculture is possible without appearing in any entrance exam?
Different universities offers admission in B.Sc agriculture through two modes:
1. Admission on the basis of rank secured in entrance exam. 2. Direct admission in management quota. If you want to get direct admission without attempting entrance exam, then you have to go for option mentioned at serial number 2. You have to score good marks in 12th standard to get admission through option 2. Some institute may ask for donation for admission. Your course duration will be of four years. |

Re: Admission in B.Sc Agriculture is possible without appearing in any entrance exam?
B.Sc Agriculture is four year duration course and it is most popular course now and most of the universities conducts entrance examination for admission.
So, if you have missed the entrance examination there will be less chance of getting admission. For admission in central government agriculture institutes you have to appear and qualify in ICAR examination conducted by AIEEA while for state government examination is conducted by state government. Most of the private colleges conducts specific entrance examination for admission in it. So, according to me you must wait for next year to get admission in course. |
