Hello there. I'm from Nepal and I want to study Bsc Maths in DU. So , do I need to appear for a written entrance exam or is the admission merit based?

There is no written exam & the admission is strictly based on merit to study bsc maths in DU.So you can easily apply on the basis of your 12th class percentage.

Actually there is no qualifying examination for BSc Mathematics in DU , its truely based on your performance in Xll ie purely merit based....

DU offers....

1. B.Sc. General Mathematical Science which require a minimum of 45% in Xll .

and

2. B.Sc (H) Mathematics which requires 50% in Mathematics and 45% of aggregate in Xll .
