Eligibility:

1. B.Sc. Microbiology or B.Sc Biotechnology from Pune University.
2. For students Other than Pune University, Microbiology subject is compulsory at TYBSc level.

Criteria for Selection:

1. Based on merit :

a. Principal total (in percentage) will be considered for B.Sc. Microbiology students of Pune University.
b. Aggregate marks (in percentage) will be considered for B.Sc Biotechnology students of Pune University.
c. Aggregate marks (in percentage) will be considered for Other University students.

2. Admissions will be given according to rules of reservation.

Candidates from Maharashtra state belonging to DTNT/OBC/SBC must submit the Caste Validity Certificate. (Students migrating from other states will not be entitled to the concessions/ benefits available to the SC/ST/DTNT, SBC and OBC students of Maharashtra state).

Students belonging to OBC & SBC must submit Non-Creamy Layer Certificate.


3. There will be no Entrance Examination for admission to M.Sc. Microbiology this year.

Important dates:

a. Merit formcan be obtained at Microbiology department from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
b. Submission of completed merit form will be from Thursday, 23/06/11 in Microbiology department from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
c. Last date for submission of completed merit form is 29/06/11 in Microbiology department upto 4:00 pm.
d. Merit List will be displayed on Thursday, 30/06/11 by 3:00 pm.
e. Details of further procedure to be followed for MSc admissions, will be available at the college website and college noticeboard at the time of display of Merit List.

Attachments to be submitted with Completed Merit Form:
i. Attested copies of FY, SY & TYBSc Microbiology/ Biotechnology Marklists.
ii. Attested copies of Caste Certificate, Validity Certificate, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate if Applicable.
