Admission procedure for BITS in B.Tech after Diploma in Mechanical Engineering?


Is there any chance to join in BITS Pilani after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering? If yes, should we need to join in 1st year or 2nd year of B.Tech?

No, you can't get admission in BITS for pursuing B.Tech course after completion of your Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Admissions in BITS for pursuing B.Tech course are done only through BITSAT examination. Candidates who have passed 12th standard with PCM stream from a Government recognised board are eligible to appear in BITSAT examination. So, being a Diploma holder, you are not eligible to get admission in BITS for appearing in BITSAT examination.
