I'm a Yemani student and wish to do PhD. Please, let me know some good institutions names and their admission procedures.

You can pursue PhD through clearing NET.

All the institutes take the students who have cleared NET for the PhD in various research subjects.

For NET, you have to be at least 23 years of age, have pursued Masters degree from any recognized university.

You would be allotted the institute on the basis of rank you get.

Admission procedure to do PhD in good colleges :

1) You have to qualify NET JRF (National Eligibility Test Junior Research Fellow) or NET LS (National Eligibility Test Lectureship) or any equivalent exam in order to skip the entrance test else you have to appear in entrance test conducted by respective universities.

2) After you have qualifies NET JRF/LS or entrance test you will be called for interview by respective department.

3) Your final selection to PhD courses will be based on your combined score in NET JRF/LS and in interview.

To pursue directorate degree the required minimum qualification is that candidate must have passed master degree with minimum 60%

To get admission in various institutes candidates have to appear and qualify in GATE, NET examination.

Admission will be conducted on the basis of score in NET and other entrance test and interview conducted by respective institute.

To get admission in good PhD institutions, you have to qualify the entrance examination conducted by the institute itself. And you must have passed Master's degree course with at least 45% aggregate.

If you will qualify entrance examination, then you will get admission in PhD. After completing the course, you have to submit your thesis on the related topic.

Admission to the PhD degree programme shall be done through an Entrance exam followed by personal interview round. Students who have passed GATE/NET/SET/M.PHIL/JRF examination in the relevant subject will be exempted from the entrance test. But they have to clear the Personal interview round in order to get admission for a PhD course in a good institute.
