Air Force Common Admission Test or AFCAT exam is conducted by the Indian Air Force

I have attached the Question Paper of AFCAT exam .So please check it out.This paper are really helpful for you.You can follow the proper pattern for AFCAT entrance exam.

It consists following four section-Verbal Ability,Numerical Ability,Reasoning,General Awareness and Aptitude.

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria:-

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test and this examination can be given by both men and women whoever wants to join the Indian Air Force. The eligibility criteria for different branches is different.

You can apply for the following branches:-

1. Flying Branch
2. Technical Branch
3. Ground Duty Branch

Flying Branch:-

Educational Qualification:- You need to complete graduation with not less than 60% of marks. In addition to that you need to pass in both mathematics and physics at 10+2 level.

Age Limit:- Your age needs to be between 19 and 23 years.

Technical Branch:-

Educational Qualification:- You need to get a B.Tech degree in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized university and secure 60% of marks in aggregate or more than that.

Age Limit:- Your age should be between 18 and 28 years.

Ground Duty Branch:-

Educational Qualification:- For Administration & Logistics branch you need to be a graduate with not less than 60% of marks or a post graduate with not less than 50% of marks.

For Accounts branch you need to complete B.Com and secure 60% of marks or you can complete M.Com with not less than 50% of marks.

For Education branch you need to complete post graduation in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks.

Age Limit:- Age should be between 20 and 27 years of age.

AFCAT Exam Pattern:-



AFCAT Exam Syllabus:-

For the exam you need to stress on the following sections:-

1. General Awareness- History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc

2. Verbal Ability in English- Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary.

3. Numerical Ability - Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.

4. Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test- Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability.
