Information Regarding IIT JEE.

IIT JEE is the most famous engineering entrance examination. Every year a large number of candidates appear in this examination to test their fate but seat is limited so competition become really hard. To appear in IIT JEE examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = Pass 12th (PCM) class with minimum 60% marks. The 12th board exam appearing student are also eligible to apply for the IIT JEE entrance examination.

NOTE :- There are only two attempt allowed in IIT JEE. For Ex :- If you pass the 12th examination in 2011 then you are eligible for the IIT JEE-2011 and also in IIT JEE-2012 but you are not eligible for IIT JEE-2013.

although you failed in the 11th, you can appear for the IIT-JEE consecutively for 2 times.

but you should score minimum 60% of the marks in pcm subjects of 11th &12th.

Yes after 12th you can definitely appear in two consecutive years even tough you failed in 11th.There are some criterion to sit for this exam,this are--
1>You have to score 60% marks in 12th(55% for SC/ST/OBC).
2>You can not more than two consecutive years after passing the 12th.The years of appearing for exam must be the very next two years after passing.

So, there are no need to worry,you are eligible.All the best.

yes' you can appear for iit jee for two consecutive year there is no problem ok

you can appear in 12th just after 12th once.

u can attempt 2 consecutive years. There is no problem if u failed in 11th . You can give test

sorry but you can't you can only give the exam twice in consecutive years one while doing 12th and another one after 12th.............in consecutive......

According to me IIT JEE is one of the toughest exams of our country . If you have fails once ,it is natural .So you can try for the next year also .But one thin keep in mind that only twice you can give the exam .
But there is an another way to join the IITs is through GATE exam.

Eligibility criteria for GATE-

1.You have to be a BE or B.tech student .
2.There is no age limit for GATE.

But this time it is for M.Tech not B.tech degree.

So if you can get success in the second attempt then it is good but if you can't then don't be disappointed .

i failed in 12th twice n i give both of iit jee twice as a appearing candidate now i m passed in 12th in 2011. maY I appear in iit jee examination 2012 as a fresh candidate?

Your failure in 11th wont affect your application for IIT. You just need to score 60% in 12th, and you can appear for two consecutive years but not more.
You don't need to appear for a second time if clear it in the 1st go. Prepare well and do well...

since IITJEE is held only once in each year. And according to the criteria you can appear for IITJEE only twice in your entire lifetime. and that too you have to be within 25 years of age according to the eligibility criteria.
You should also secure 60% in class 12 to be eligible.
Since IITJEE 2012 is over, you can try your luck in IITJEE 2013. The forms will come out by november, 2012 and the test will be on the first week of april,2013.
