After completing M.Tech in civil engineering, you have two options:-
>>Going for job. >>Going for Doctorate course. If you want to do job, you can try for the following companies/ sectors: 1. L & T 2. Visaka 3. Ridhik constructions 4. Public works Department, Government of India 5. Indian railways To do Doctoral course, you need to crack GATE examination, conducted by IIT once in a year. Thank you. |

After M.tech in Civil engg, there are following fields:
JRF NET: This is junior research fellowship and you can pursue it for joining research field. Teaching: You can join any college/university for teaching purposes and impart knowledge to the students. PSU: You can join any PSU as an engineer as Mtech gets preference with lucrative job profiles. Foreign countries; you can move to foreign countries for pursuing doctoral studies. Private sector: As infrastructural development is taking place in India, many private companies are also coming up with different job profiles for Civil engg. |
