Actually, currently I'm doing BAMS. And, in future I want to join Army as a Medical Officer. So, what I have to do after BAMS to become a Medical Army Officer?

Doctors for the Armed forces are recruited through AFMC, Pune. There is no opening available for BAMS graduates in Indian Army. If you want to join Indian Army as Doctor you need to study at AFMC, Pune and if you are fit enough for such jobs you will be inducted into the Army as a Physician.

Ayurvedic doctors are not needed in Indian Army because they don't have the necessary skills to treat emergency patients and also they are not having the skills to perform surgeries.
