I,am a rly employee who have rendered more than three years regular service .I belong to obc community.will I be given age relaxation by BPSC, that is 40 years +5 years in upper age limit.

Bihar government employees who have been in continuous service for at least three years will allow relaxation in upper age limit for 5 years. Hence, 40 years + 5 years.But in such case, the candidates have to show their valid service certificate as a proof in order to claim for age relaxation.

For the serving Group 'C' and Group 'D' Central Govt. staff Railway Staff and casual labours/ substitutes, the relaxation in upper age limits will be up to 40 years for Unreserved candidates, 45 years for SC/ST candidates and 43 years for OBC candidates, provided they have put in a minimum of 3 years service (continuous or in broken .

The upper age limit for an OBC candidate for BPSC is 40. For government employees who have been in continuous service for atleast 3 years have a relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit. That is for them 45(40+5) is the upper age limit.

Sir I m central govt servant, I want to know maximum upper age relaxation for general category candidate, or it is age relaxation for only bihar government servant only for additional 5 yrs.
