Yes, you are eligible to appear in NDA entrance examination conducted by UPSC. The examination is conducted for recruitment in defence service.

The required minimum eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing 12th from a recognised board.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear in examination.

The examination is conducted in two stages as written and SSB. Candidates after qualifying in both stages will become eligible for recruitment. For detail information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

To be eligible for upcoming NDA Exam (I) 2018, your date of birth should lie between 2nd July 1999 and 1st July 2002.

As your DOB is 11th June 1999, so you will not be eligible for NDA (I) Exam of 2018.

Notifications and Online Application Forms of NDA (I) 2018 will be released on 10th January 2018.

However, if you pursue graduation now, then in Final year you can appear for another defence exam i.e. CDS Exam.

Through CDS Exam, you can get direct entry to Armed forces like Navy, Air Force, Army and Naval Academy.

NDA refers to National Defense Academy and NDA entrance examinations are held by UPSC twice every year for selection of deserving candidates who want to become a commissioned officer.

As far as you are concerned about your eligibility for appearing in NDA I 2018 examination ( which will be held for offering admission in NDA course commencing from 1st January 2019 ) having born on 11th June 1999 then I would like to let you know that you are not eligible as your age by the time of commencement of course i.e; 1st June 1999 exceeds the maximum age limit allowed which is 19.5 years.

No, you are not eligible to appear in NDA 2018 examination while studying 12th standard. You should have passed 12th standard from a Government recognised board to be eligible to apply for NDA examination. You should be in the age range of 16.5 to 19.5 years. You should be an unmarried male candidate and should be physically as well as mentally healthy to be eligible to apply for NDA examination. Since, you have not completed your 12th standard, you are not eligible to appear in NDA (1) examination 2018 and you are eligible to appear in NDA (2) 2018 examination.
